My fiance told me that she got a call on her cell from this number about an hour ago, she didn't recognize it so didn't answer it. She said they didn't leave a voice mail. Neither of us answer unknown numbers but I usually check them out online to see if their bogus. Thank goodness there are sites like this, by reading everyone elses feedback it looks like the 202-495-1738 is calling lots of people and within a short time period.

Called at about 9:30AM CT. Didn't answer since I don't know anyone from the DC area.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone.  I also am glad I didn't pick up!

I'm glad for this site. Got a missed call from this number and decided to look it up. Thanks all of you and thanks to this site. I just wish I knew how they got this number. It's a new phone and I only use it for emergencies. It's one of those pre-pay phones.

I answered the phone and got a message saying it was very urgent about my VISA card. So I stayed on the line and when the lady came on I asked if she knew my name as a security precaution. She said, "I didn't ask for your f* name" and hung up. I called back the number but only got a message asking if I wanted to be removed from the calling list. So I did a reverse look up and found that it is listed under the name Event Insider in Washington D.C. I did a Google search for Event Insider and found nothing......yet. I haven't given up. I will find these "people".

i got the same call on sept 26, i was not around so i didn't answer.  from the sounds of it, i am glad that i didnt.

I got a call from 202-495-7138, they said they wanted to help with credit card debt.  They asked for my credit card number.  When I asked for information about the company was unable to give me any.  I asked for a web-site address to research for myself, they were unable to provide one.  I am glad I hung up.

Received unsolicted credit card scheme call on my cell phone from these [***].  They need to be shut down!!

they called and i thought i recognized the # so i answered it and they said there name was erica and they were calling about my credit card bill...

didn't answer and glad I didn't, jerks called me early saturday.

Now they are selling medical insurance for $3/day that includes free dental. Yeah right.
