Well here it is 2018, and they're at it again.  Some recording from this phone number left a threatening message that they were the Sheriff's office and they were coming to arrest me unless I returned their call.  OK, come and get me - LOL!   Do people really fall for this junk?

I got a message from them telling me to call them back "the very second you receive this message" because "IRS has filed a lawsuit against your name the local County Sheriff  are going to arrest you for for serious allegations" the whole message had grammar mistakes.

Robotic voicemail about and IRS case - actually ended with "Give us a call back before you get arrested". Seriously? But I can see this alarming people. I get 3 calls a week from various scammers -even on the DNC list.

Threatening call claiming to be the IRS.  I returned the called many times and put on an act.  It was soooo much fun!!!!  I played the part of a simple woman, a loud rebel, an elderly woman with bad hearing, a child.....I love it....wasting their time as they wasted mine.

Just got the same message--I wish I had thought to call back and role play!

IRS pay outstanding taxes.

Caller ID said, "Mart Baczkowski". I suppose this is meant to make you shiver and believe it's the name of some high profile lawyer. Anyway, if I did not call back immediately the message on the voicemail said, the sheriff would come and arrest me for screwing the IRS.
So I ignored the voicemail instructions and my wife and went out for a nice meal at a restaurant. When we got back home the same message had been left again on my voicemail.
So I went, burp....s'cuse me....... to bed...... I'm still waiting for the sheriff a day later.
