They call me on my land line and said they are calling from  the IRS, sound like a recording, I can't hardly understand them.

Sounds like an IRS Scam.  The IRS Web Site describes a phone scam like this going on...Reverse Look up shows this number as being from a Cell Phone.  Not too many Gov Agencies call you on cells phones

They just called me - sounded totally phony!! Delete and ignore!! [***] up voice said his name is Officer Robin - asked me to call back at 202-506-9050

Called land line several times, left a message. Said his name is Officer Cooper.  Very thick accent & said he was from the IRS.  Sounds totally like a scam.  Ignore!

I received a call from 202 506-9141 and 202 506-9060  pretending to be from the IRS.

Had two calls today from 202-506-9141 say its the IRS and he his my contact left a message on my recrder saying to call back very important!! Certain hoax!!!

"Mike Cooper" from "the irs" left his number as 202-506-9060, but the number on my ID said 202-506-9141.  Call was made to my house at 6:30AM, and not even the IRS can do that.  I'm lodging complains on both numbers.

Repeated calls,  very noisy , couldn't understand. I hung up!

Horribly broken English spoken male, Can not even understand What he said ? Heard IRS,  government, Tax etc., told him that the call is recorded and being traced, The guy hung us so fast.

I used to work for the IRS. These scammers made the mistake of calling me. I reported them to the IRS CID division. The scammer tried to say they would call the cops on me. DON'T believe that! The IRS hates to call anyone! They do everything on paper, not by phone. I told the scammer as much, and also told him that he was using a false caller ID and I was reporting him to the FBI as he was calling from Pakistan. He hung up on me. What a dimwit scammer.

I GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUM SAYING THEY WERE OFFICERS OF THE IRS AND THAT I WAS GONNA GO TO JAIL FOR TAXES. I have never had problems WITH THE IRS

Hubby got this call twice today.... Steve Mathews hmmmmm I don't know of any Steve Mathews (American name by the way) that can't speak English!!! IRS never calls you let alone from a cell phone! it's a scam and making the news as I type this in!

A caller stated he was representing some agency dealing with fraud IRS claims.  I've had previously resolved issues with the IRS and everything is done by mail.  Caller claimed to be office John Alex and tat this matter was extremely time sensitive requiring my return call.  I answered in middle of second call and told him I recognized his scam and that his call was recorded, and not to call back.  He attempted to call again twice, but left no message. I checked my Vonage account activity and the recording is there.  Broken English,  very hard to understand. On the third call and hang-up , the call actually showed a Philippine area code,  011-202-506-9141.   A scam that is very irritating!!!!!

It is a scam, he called me too, I talked to him. Could hardly understand him, I told him I will turn him to the FBI, he hung up immediately.
