Similar issue with IRS claiming I owed over $4000.00 in taxes and they were sending Federal Marshall to the home to have me arrested. Reported this to Sheriff's office who said it is a scam.

Digital recording (possibly text-to-voice) stating that "the very second" I receive this call, I should ask my attorneys to call back Officer Amy (Wilson?) at the IRS or immediate "allegations" would be made against me.  Improper usage of the word "allegations", the unprofessional language of "the very second", and the digital recording are clear signs that this call is a fraud.

This is a Pakistan or India based IRS scam. Do not fall for it. The IRS does not initiate any legal action via phone.
    Read http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/press/press_tigta-2014-03.htm

As general background information, here are a few things you can do:
    1) Report it to TIGTA under http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml especially if you have become a victim (lost money, gave personal information etc.). You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov/complaint (include “IRS Telephone Scam" in your complaint). This way you can also help the government establish specific fraud patterns.

    2) Help kill their phone lines. The scammers use Voice over IP lines (e.g. magicJack (Ymax corporation)) to make it seem as if they are calling from the US. This is always against these companys' terms of service and can lead to immediate termination of their contract and blocking of their IP addresses for future attempts to register. Do a reverse look up of their telephone number (e.g. www.whitepages.com) to identify the Voice over IP provider and report it to the company and/or law enforcement (local police and/or state attorney general)

    3) If you are really annoyed: call or write to your representative in Congress. As these scams happen all over the country maybe this will trigger a reaction and provide US law enforcement agencies with the political backing and the resources they need to work in India and Pakistan together with local authorities (it can happen, read: http://www.ndtv.com/article/india/ex-call-cen ... mmission-320427). A US task force has already been set up in Jamaica to nab scammers there (see http://www.ice.gov/doclib/news/library/reports/cornerstone/cornerstone7-1.pdf). You can use the following template for your letter (more powerful!) or email:

got this call, caller id number 202-506-9499 as well as a recorded voice message with number 202-506-9499. I did a white page number reverse and the carrier is Ymas Oration, in Beltsville, MD. We have no IRS issues ever and we file each year on time using a CPA. We realized it was false. We called the number and it was busy. When the IRS needs to contact someone, they send a letter with valid information. The  IRS is customer service oriented and very cordial. This message was clearly fraud, the voice recording sounded urgent and made me feel nervous and threatened and the IRS does not threaten tax payers.

    Beware
i received a call today from Amy Wilson IRS officer 202-506-9499.  It was a digitized voice stating I owed back taxes.  I knew immediately it was a scam as the TN they called in home was just installed to allow me to work from home by the company I work for.  The TN is not even in my name!  I didn't call the number back, but did research and here I am.  Beware!

Just received a message today from the number from DC.  Demanded an immediate return call, claiming to be an investigator with the IRS.  The number continued to be busy, but when it finally rang it was dead silent when answered.  I'm glad I decided to "Google" the number....
