Same B.S. message left on my machine as well.  Anyone get any feedback from a formal complaint?

I have received phone call since March from this number and got a call on 4 different occasion> I have been accused of owing money from IRS and I have some fraudulent transactions.  I have been threatened to be arrested  each time I received the call. It used to be people with different accents, but lately, it sounds like an automated voice message with american accent.  I do wish these people will be arrested for fooling people.

They are calling saying I owe the IRS

I received a call from the same phone number from someone stating that his name is Daniel or ????(thick Indian accent)  I couldn't understand much except that he said he was calling from the IRS and that there was a fraud case against me for $$6847.56 but would be over $40K....and that I was likely to go to jail, lose my driver's license for 5 years, etc....I said "oh, my God! where do I send the money. Quick! I can't go to jail. No wait, I am too upset I have to get to the police office and turn myself in"....and then I hung up.

•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

I got a call from this number.  An guy with Indian accent tells me that IRS has a fraud case against me.  If I don't pay $5965 over the phone the process cost will total $35000.  I was threaten if I fail to do so, I will be handcuffed, put in jail.  I will have all my assets frozen; my home repossessed, accounts frozen.  
I told him that I will call the authority and my state representative.  I googled this number and found others had similar experiences.  

Besides the other things he threatened you with, the scammer forgot to mention your vehicle will be repossessed, and after your jail sentence is served, you, and your entire family will be put in shackles and immediately deported to West Virginia!

Oh this was fun!
After reading many of the above I knew what I was dealing with and pretended real concern...and kept him on the phone for as LONNNNNG as I could!

This SOB called me 3 times today during work hours. I hope whoever is behind this gets f*ck*ed by a dinosaur.

Stop this caller from alarming anyone else.  Claimed he was an agent from the IRS...and used an electronic voice protocol to send the message.  Caller ID shows Washington DC with the number.  Call was saved to voice mail.

I received a Robocall from 215-525-0073 with a very rough computer generated voice telling me to call this number (202-506-9539). Am supposing they're using the computer voice synthesis to mask their accent.

I just got a phone call from 202-506-9539. It was a recorded message from a man with a deep voice and said that it was important that I call back to this # . I would need an attorney. Of course , I just l laughed and went right on my tablet and put this number in to see what was up. I got right to here. I knew it joke. No one is looking for me ! So beware , this is just a sick person trying to get people all scared for something they never did !  So , I'm just going back to what I was doing. Talking on Facebook.

I received a call this morning from this number and a recorded message came advising that  the call is from IRS and I have a tax fraud case against me and if I don't have an attorney they will represent me.
I called the number 202-506-9539 back and talked to a live person on this number. He told me that I have a fraud case filed in the us court and an arrest warrant obtained. He also asked if I have an attorney. When I told him if they have an arrest warrant already I would like to go to jail for sometime.

Got a message a few minutes ago saying the caller was an IRS investigator and a warrant was being issued for my arrest for tax fraud.
I called back and told the man answering the phone that I was recording the call - he yelled that I don't scare him, called me an SOB and hung up.

I got this call this morning, said they called from IRS and I have problem with tax and need call them back ASAP , otherwise I WILL go to jail. I called them back right way, and a guy with a strong ( Indian) accent answered the phone. He asked my phone,  name and told me there is a law suit against me from IRS. I asked why, he said because I miscalculated the tax. I asked which year? He 2010, 2011 and 2012. I said how much I owed? He said $6847.52. I said I never get letter or notice from IRS. He said that 'We sent to you but returned back to us since nobody at home to get the letter.' I said 'when did you send?'  He said '2014 18 month' . I could not understand... Then he said, if you do not pay you will go to jail. I said I can pay, but I have to look  at credit card. He said' no credit card must be cash and bank account', and asked 'Do you have a bank account available?'  .....  BE CAREFUL!!!

You folks will be proud of me. I called the number back and moved in with the heavy artillery, took the complete offensive and called him every curse word in the english language and a few in spanish. He was flustered. It was a man with an  Middle eastern Indian sounding voice. I'm sure he's talkiing to himself right now and cursing up a storm. I believe in fighting fire with fire. No exceptions and no civility where scum like this exists. Just so you know, if you wer contacted by the legitimate IRS agency, it would be via mail first.

This is the IRS and you have unresolved debt to please contact 202-506-9539 to resolve this issue before going to an attorney etc.... I called the number back immediately and told them not to call my house again. I suspected a scam right away.  

I received a call from 202-506-9539 saying they were from the IRS and I have a case filed against me.  When I called back it was a man with a strong Indian accent from a call center wanted information about me.  I told them they would have to mail me correspondence - do not fall for this, it's a scam.

I got a phone call from this number as well.  They are getting more creative.  It was a standard digital message but don't be fooled.  The IRS will notify you in writing if they have a question.  They will not call and leave a generic message.
