- PaolaVery scary phone call. I was told I could be arrested, bad credit rating, lose my driver license, to mention some of the treats, if I did not pay $6,200. Reported to the police. Police told me that many "Seniors" are getting these kind of phone calls. Since I am 71 I qualified!

- shreeHave received several calls saying it is IRS officer must call back or face legal action...Scam
- not an idiotRobo message from Heather Grey at IRS stating I had an issue and must call back asap to avoid legal action. Called back and Heather was not in, but her supervisor, "Frank Martin," who had such a heavy Indian accent that I could barely understand him, said he could help me. I asked him who he worked for, and he said IRS in Washington. All the while I am hearing noisy Indians in the background working switchboards. I said, "Listen, "Raji," there's no way you work for the IRS." And, "You are a special kind of stupid, aren't you, Raji." And he hung up on me.

- SinghCaller left robo message asking to call back 202 506 9689 - or else faced legal issue. Called number "frank" with pure Indian accent picked phone. Sounded like a typical call center. He asked for my number - and I asked him for his identity - failing to identify himself he hung up- he did not have a called ID
- kumarGot call from this number pretending to be IRS officer. Just know that IRS would never initiate any contact with a telephone , they would rather send you a certified mail first.
- Call type: Debt collector
- Lynn| 1 replyJust received the same robo-call from "Officer Heather Grey" from the IRS. Number was 202-506-9689. It only shows Ymax Communications from Washington DC., when you google it. Same message regarding an "extremely time-sensitive" issue and "don't disregard this message." Just note, an IRS agent never gives out their first name, and would never end the conversation with "good-bye and take care." Be warned and report the call as a scam.
- Caller: IRS Scam
- DaveI just got a call on this number too and when I called them back. They said from IRS. I believe it's a scam.
