-If you answer the phone you get an Automated voice saying that it is the IRS and to call them back before they file a lawsuit.  IT IS A SCAM!  The IRS does not call w/Unknown Name & they do not threaten lawsuits in automated messages.  These Scummy Sleaze have been doing this for a while now (using a few different numbers.)
Back in March, I got a call from "Tops Marketing" claiming to be the IRS. (I guess the idiot forgot to hide the name)
The "Representative" usually has an Indian voice & gets mad if you tell him you are recording the conversation...
Best thing you can do is report the number to the actual IRS fraud Hot-Line...(Maybe it might Help some day...)

The IRS does not call w/Unknown Name & they do not threaten lawsuits in automated messages.  These Scummy Sleaze have been doing this for a while now (using a few different numbers.)  If you do actually talk to a "Representative"  he usually has a thick Indian accent & gets mad if you tell him you are recording the conversation or ask to speak to someone who you can understand.
The same Number (1-202-517-6439) has also claimed to be with other Government Agencies, but again SCAM !!!!

Just got a call from this number saying that it was a sensitive issue and that I needed to respond before they took any further action against me or my family. Needless to say I ignored it

called me and they said they will get me HAHA

i called this number back and told them to get a life this is USA and we are smarter than that
