Received call from unrecognized number.  Caller left no message.

It's the HRC, the Human Rights Campaign, calling to give special updates.

Just received a call....no message.

This number, 202-567-5767, called my mobile phone and left a voicemail. It was an auto-dialer for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) rallying constituents to contact their legislators in Washington, DC today as the new Equality Bill, which will end workplace, housing, and other types of shameful discrimination against LGBTQ citizens illegal in all 50, has been introduced in the Capitol and will be coming up for a vote soon.

I don't want these calls coming in on my cell phone, how do I remove my number? Emails would be great!

Hrc again callers leave no message but sometimes they do

I have an Android phone and use an app called PhoneWarrior.It lets you block numbers. For my home phone, I use Ooma. It lets you block up to 256 callers.

I have signed petitions for human rights but I will not donate to anybody who robocalls me and doesn't leave their ID on caller ID.  If you phone me, you're out of luck because I'll hang up or not answer

No, it's democracy in action...especially in the age of so much technology.  Decades ago, folks stood on street corners doing exactly what these calls like HRC's are doing or they canvassed neighborhoods and walked door to door.  Both are effective means of mobilizing people to support important social/political issues.  Now, collection agencies, burial plan sellers, etc....THOSE are harassment groups.......

On the iPhone in the phone call registry, there is an i in a circle to the right of the number. I click on that and scroll down to the option, Block This Caller. When I tap on that, the number is blocked forever.

The reason I'm upset about recieving robocalls from this is because I really don't like recieving phone calls and I never gave them my phone number so now I'm also wondering how they obtained my cellphone number.

I love HRC and support the cause both vocally and financially -- however I'm in an important meeting at work and this thing calls my cell phone *6* times in a row. I kept declining the calls and it kept calling me back again to the point where my boss asked if I needed to go take the call as it must be urgent if someone calls me that many times.

I will contact my legislators to support this bill --- HOWEVER --- repeated spam calling is a good way to lose support from me for HRC.
