Fraudulent Call

do not call me again

Foreign sounding woman called cell phone number.  The call originated in Washington DC.  Something about my having been randomly selected by the government to received $9K totally free no payback.  I cut her off in mid-sentence and told her that it was a scam and I hung up on her  I didn't catch exactly who/what organization she said she was with.

I just got the same phone call and I hung up as will... She said she was calling from the District of Columbia Government Agency but wasn't specific on which one... lol

Scam posing as Fed Govt agency offering a grant

Yeah it was a guy who called when I declined he dropped f-bomb so hung up

Called and said if any parents where home we said no and he dropped a f-bomb

Foreigner stated he was from Federal Grant Office.  I had  difficulty understanding him,  asked him to repeat himself a few times. This frustrated him and he cursed me and hung up.

Received a call from this number to my cell.  The asian man identified himself as Jong and said he was from the Federal Government Department of Securities and Exchange.  He told me that I had 9k.  I began to question him and he hung up.  I called the number back and the same guy answered the phone.  I told him that the call got dropped and he said  "oh the line must have been busy"...dumb answer.  He identified himself as Benson of the Securities Exchange.  I asked him why he was making fraudulent calls.  I told him the US Government does not make random calls like that to people.  He hung up.

I received the call and just like any scam call. I go through the process with them [***] getting as much information as I can without giving personal info. I give fake name fake social etc. lol spend time getting the info and report to authorities. the time on the phone with me could prevent just one vulnerable person from getting a call next.

Free government money

Some one called me from this number 2025677828 name Albert. Saying they calling from government, Feds. ITS A SCAM.

Same as many of the comments above.  Foreign sounding woman claiming to be with federal agency said I was selected to receive a "grant" of $9k .  I disconnected call and blocked number.  Scam!!!

Got calls from this number two days in a row.  Said I won a grant.  Played along with them making up info and got them to hang up on me.

Called the number back after calling me. Told me I had 9k in a grant and said I'm sure you're wondering why the govt chose you. I stopped him and said no I work for the govt and am in Colorado. Immediately hung up.

Called in four days in a row. I asked him to take me off there calling list and was told " You don't even know why I'm calling I said I don't care just stop calling".Hung up and the guy called me again this time he sounded very up-.sat
