This phone is used by scamsters.
They call themselves from FTC (Federal Trade Comission) And making a payday loan.
Once you confront them, they become rude and obnoxious and abuse you. They are of Indian origin and target people of Indian origin. They even talk in various local state language like Gujarati.
Keep away from these scamsters.
Do not be intimidated by their threats.

i recieved a call today from them. i am 70 years old & they were very vulgar. they also called me 3 days ago.

Just received a call from this number. Obvious Indian/middle eastern accent. said his name was Andrew and I bought a mumbled garbled blah blah blah. is this correct? I said no it was not. and I was not interested in his scams and this number was being reported.

They just don't stop calling

This is ridiculous!  Called posing as a doctor asking about recent surgeries I have had.  I almost lost my mind!

I had the same experience.  They keep calling and asking for my medical information.  I keep hanging up and they keep calling me back.  At one point, when I told them to put me on their "do not call list", they starting cursing obsenities at me.  They knew that I had recent surgery and even knew the type of surgery that I had and asked me specific questions.

They call daily. I asked to speak to a supervisor...they said they don't have one.  I said bull and insisted then they said he stepped out to get a drink of water.   East Indian accent.  I asked if was calling from the States and he refused to answer.  Kept saying I did not know why he was calling.  I asked repeatedly to be taken off the calling list, but he refused, saying he could not do that  and repeating over and over that I did not know why he was calling.

He's just another inept foreign scammer. They're not very bright. If they were, they'd know that real Americans would disregard anything having to do with DC. Evidently they haven't been told that we all know that DC has been stricken with virulent Poly-tishanosis & has a high death rate due to the devastating Lobbyus Cancer.

I have been receiving numerous calls from alot of different phone numbers. In which I don't answer if I don't know the number I am glad you have this here to check on these numbers is there any way to block them after they call?

Thank you for this service. I got a call from this number at 7:50 a.m., Pacific Time, today. I did not answer, and now, thanks to your information, I am glad that I didn't. I have added this number to my "reject number" list. Thank you.

Frustrating!  They have called late at night and, this morning, at 7am.  I don't pick up.  But, when you get a late night call, startled awake, do you listen for the caller ID?  No, you worry about family calling with an emergency.  Geeze!  Scum bags!

These people call me everyday while at work at a minimum of 4 times. I have asked them to remove me from their list of calls and they say ok each time but to no avail the next day they call again. Calls start around 8:30am pst.

These people called me again today.  I finally answered my phone because I was tired of ignoring 5-7 calls a day from this number.  I told him to take me off his calling list and hung up.  He immediately called me back and was very rude.  I lost my temper and told him to go F*ck himself and he told me "no ma'am.  You f*ck yourself"  He then continued asking what was wrong and using my first name like he knew me.  If I could squeeze through a phone wire he would have been strangled.

They call and leave a message that you can barely understand. Do not know anyone in this area code.

When answered, hold music was playing.  Someone said hello and put back on hold.  At that point, I hung up without talking to them.  Thanks for the information of other calls, I will change my tactics accordingly.

You are all correct they do not give up. I put a block on my cell for that incoming 202-567-7860. I suggest if you have a smartphone to do that same. I always wonder do we call or go over to India or where-ever and do this to them????  SCAM!

just dont answer your phone if you dont know the number,  if it is someone you know or important they wl leave a msg.    it has been a couple years this person keeps calling me, I have learned to just not answer the phone.    it is a useless battle , just dont answer unknown caller numbers.
