8 calls within the last 7 days. Even got a call from this number on Sunday around noon. We ignore the calls and let them go to our answering machine. They don't leave messages. Who are they? Help!

We are have started to get these phone calls as well. When you go to answer the phone no one is there. It is frustrating. If anyone knows who they are please let me know. I can only trace it to a cell phone.

Have been getting constant calls from this number from THC which I do not recognize and don't answer

So far 2 calls today.  We do not answer - no message is left.

They called my by my first name.  I hung up.  They called on a Sunday...no day is exempt from this calls.

Got a call at my home at 5:51 this afternoon (Sunday 3/18/07)from 202-607-2726. My message light was blinking but the only message was a quick hang up "click". Caller ID as "THC". I have received this same call from the same number over the past few weeks but there has never been any message left. Does anyone know who this is ???

Received several calls today on my cell while at work from this number. No message left. And I've seen this number before in the past...

We got two calls from the same number last night.  My wife looked up these entries from Google.  I'm waiting to see if they call us back today.  I actually want to hear what they say.

As an aside, I'm thinking seriously about reporting this to the States Attorney for Florida.  I think it's about time we do something about these folks.

202-607-2726 calling for days all hours

I'd not answered this earlier, but decided to see who it was this time.  The call was on behalf of MADD...Mother's Against Drunk Drivers...soliciting a donation.  From the background noise, it was a phone room of solicitors (tele-solicitors) for this non-profit organization.

Update:

They called again the other evening (03/21/2007), so I answered it.  Turns out it was on behalf of MADD.

To Barbara, that's the way most of these non-profit groups do these fund raisers on a national level.

My wife and I pledged $25.  That's little enough to pay for the piece of mind knowing it isn't a collection agency! :-)

This number is MADD "dialing for dollars".  They are such pests.  I suspect that too much of their money goes to fund raising instead of real programs.  We are also on the DNC Registry, but does not matter to them!

I am called once or twice from BCR 202-607-2732 about a small phone bill.  They say as long as they don't get an answer they are allowed by law to call several times a day. When the phone answers I have to wait for some rude dude to answer who usually says 'go ahead and sue us' and I hang up.  If I ignore the next call they call again that day.  Their MO is apparently harrassment. I have a call in to my attorney and will call the Eden Prairie Better Business bureau and copy every government official I can find.

i have been called 4 times today from numbers all starting with 202-607 something and the last 4 digits are all different.  I am assuming that this is the same company.  I called one of them back and it said it was some place called BCR.  No idea who they are or where they got my number from.

we receive calls several times a day, every day of the week.  I see that we are not the only ones. we ignore it each time but i am getting really tired of the constant ringing.  what should we do?
