A collection agency calling and asking for people I don't know. I tell them it's wrong number and hung up. They continue calling. I don't answer any more.

Started calling on 3/16 and it has been continuous - at least ten times including today - at varying times of the day.

I refuse to answer because I do not knon any one in the 202 area code - and, I know the President doesn't want to talk to me.

I am going to block the call today as it is getting rather irritating.

Just got a call. Just rang once and thats it. called back but got nothing.

I keep getting a call from this company ask for someone that don't live at my house. I told them seveal times not to call me. I even threatend the police on them. They continue to call me. Today I called the number back and got some guy. I was really angry and he end up telling me shut up and hung up on me. So I called back and gave the guy my number and he said I would be removed from this list. Lets see if that works if not I'm going to have to block the number they call at least three times a day.

Same deal, they call three times a day and ask for a person that does not live at my number.  I have asked to be removed from the list 3 or four times now.

Reached wrong number.  Very rude, pushy, and refused to divulge any info.

The company is called Bureau of Collection or BCR. They have been hassling me with constant calls abut a non-existant debt. I discovered they are headquartered in Eden Prairie, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis. Here is their website. It has contact information for their corporate staff:

How unfortunate that I now have the number which apparently belonged to a rather naughty fellow ... I've had my phone number for over a year now and I get calls ALL the time for this particular man.  No matter how many times I tell them, I still get called, sometimes more than 5 or 6 times in a single day.  I suppose it's time for me to either put privacy director on my phone or write to BCR headquarters.

I get calls practically daily from this number. I usually don't pick up numbers I don't know, but I did pick up this morning. They asked for my friend Brittany.........and we even don't share the same phone number.

I get repeated calls from this number. When I answer no one is there. I started picking it up and hanging it up right away, still getting calls. I can't even get off the call list because no one is ever on the phone!

I get this call daily for someone who apparently lives on my street.  I get his mail mistakenly because somewhere along the line he listed my house number instead of his.  I do not know the man, but now I am getting calls for him and it's annoying me.  To block calls, Verizon wants me to pay $5.25 a month!!  The woman is very pushy and sounds Asian.  If I don't pick it up, they still call and then take up space on my voicemail.  I will try Kevin's link.  Thank you.

I get calls from them as well. 202-607-2731 shows up along with the 866 number.
they've called twice already this morning. And i've gotten calls from them several times aday for over 3 monthes. I never answered the phone b/c it just looks weird on the caller id. I checked their website and no wonder they are able to do what they do.

I get calls from this number and its annoying. They call like 8 times a day, even on Saturdays and Sundays. Don't answer cuz I don't know who it is but I called back from another phone and its a collection agency. I don''t owe any money, and I believe they even called my sister and they were rude, and wanted her to pay. She kept telling them wrong number and still insisted she give them her credit card number. I guess I'll change my number

Keep getting calls from this number...to say annoying would be an understatement. I see I'm not the only one being harrassed! What can be done to make this stop?

Got a call today and the call ask for my son (using his first name) I told her that he was not here, he was at school.  She then asked me was he a minor. I asked who they were since they did not know if my son was an adult or not.  She would not answer me.  I asked if this was a teller marketing....she then hung up the phone.  I looked the number up in the computer and found this webcite.  My son has no outstanding bills for any collection department could be calling him about.  I know this, because I have seen his credit report only two weeks ago.

I, too, am getting calls from this number several times a day. Most of the time, they don't leave a message and when they do, all they say is
"Please call BCR .......blah, blah, blah"  I never answer when I see the number but it is so annoying as they call several times a day and at night.
There has to be something that can be done about this!!!!

Like everyone else, I get calls for either a "Vidal" or "Danielle."  Yesterday, I asked them to take me off the list or I would contact the FTC.  I got another phone call today and sent in my complaint to the FTC.

I've also gotten calls from 202-607-2731/2732 and 800-831-7311, which are apparently for the same company.

This company continually calls my phone number too - for somebody who used to have this phone number I believe. They won't stop. They've called about 12 times in the last 12 days - and a variety of other times over the past months. They call and hang up on me even. They just won't stop.
