this company calls everyday....several times a day. i don't answer, but it is still very annoying. They leave a brief message to call BCR.....

Call lists, the BBB, send a letter....all good, but the best method to get your number off the call list is to keep a whistle with your phone. When you see the caller ID says BCR, blow long, loud blasts into the receiver. They tend to take you right off the list!

I keep getting calls from this phone number at all hours of the morning and night....I have a baby, and it his woken him up on numerous occasions.  The caller ID says Unknown Name, how do I block this number?

If you do not owe money, then this is probably a scam to make you think you have to pay. Some people just don't know better. What's good about the phne calls is that each call that crosses a state bprder is considered a wire fraud charge. The FBI will be interested if anyone has losses. Keep track of the calls and notify th FBI or the USPostal Inspection Service if you gat anything through thr mails linked to this people.

called 4x before 9 AM on my cell phone that is prepaid. when i called back they didn't answer. looked up and found this useful information. it's nice to know my prepaid cell phone is being scammed.

Keeps leaving messages on my child's cell phone, she gets them daily.  She doesn't answer, but it irritates me.  Luckily she knows not to answer calls that aren't in her phone book.

I keep getting phone calls from 1-202-607-2732 and its from BCR. They call all day and night. I finally answered the phone today, just to see what they want and they asked to speak to someone name Candance. I told them that no one lives here by that name and they called out my number to me and asked did they have the right number. I told them yes they have the right number, but the wrong person and then she hung up on me. Something has to be done about this. It's enough that I owe my own bills since I am unemployed, but I be damned if they are going to harrass me about someone else's bill!!

I receive these calls EVERYDAY 3-4 times a day that are for my husband who is incararated.  They tell me that I'm still responsible for his bill and they will continue to call me.  Under law, I'm not.  My name is NOT on the account.  I have moved since he's been gone and I don't know how they got my number since this is the first time I've had a landline phone in over 2 yrs in my name.  I contacted the BBB and they advised me to file a complaint with the FTC.  After telling them the situation, they said BCR is in has over 3 violations just with my complain.  CALL FTC...(877) 382-4357!  BCR's address is 7575 Corporate Way Eden Prairie, MN 55344; you'll need that.  They advice you to send a cease and desist letter.  Once that's done...any calls after that is only going to benefit you!!!

I keep getting calls from either (202)607-2733 or 2732 or 2731. once they did leave a message on my machine sau=ying to call Bcr at a 1800 number.
most of the time they hang up on me! The one time I did answer they asked for me by my first name, I said this is, they asked me again by my first name, then asked for me by my maiden name. I stated that used to be my name and then they hung up. I called the number on the caller id and a man answered the phone,(it was a woman the first time sounded very young) I told him that I keep getting calls from this number and hangups. Then I asked him what type of business they were, he would not answer, he asked for my phone number so he could look up my info, I said not utill you tell me what type of company you work for! He then in a very abrupt way said a collection agency. so I gave him my phone number, he then started to vagelly tell me about a supposed debt that I had with a cell phone company, I explained to him that I did not have that company nor it's debt. He then got very upset stated yes you do and you owe 534.00 dollars and hung up on me. They continue to call but when i answer they just hang up. I did a search and also called my phone company and local BBB, these calls are made from cell phones in the Washington D.C. area, the Website for BCR says they are a private buisness run out of MN. BBB says it looks like a SCAM. Ask them to send you proof of debt from the company because you know your rights! If you continue to get calls give then the name of your attourney and tell them to call them, if it is a legit business then they must follow both requests whithin 5 days and not call in a threatening way. Also call the Federal Trade and report your problem.

These people are calling my elderly parents four to five times a day. Most of the time they just hang up. My father has told them to put them on their do not call list and they refuse. They owe no debt to anyone and there is no reason for them to be harrassing them. My parents are not in good health and I would like to put a stop to these people. I have called this company many times to see what their problem is and no one answers. How can I stop them?

They call about every day, they don't ID themselves,just hang up when the answering machine records.  I answered 1 time and a women was on the phone and I could not understand one word that she was speaking!  We called the number back and they wanted our phone number to verify, when we would not give it they hung up...  I don't know how people can get by with this kind of harrasment?

They call my house so many times. I told them that no one by the name of "Blank" lives here. I ask them not to call back anymore. But they still do. They call very early in the morning. They are very very rude.

I would love to [***] punch all of them in the [***] face!!!!

I think I'm not the only one who receives these calls, however, I decided to post my comments to make people aware of those PIGS from collection agency. They call you from different number with different caller ID every time ( you got the idea). They don't leave any messages. I told I'm not the person the are after, but they still call me. Here are the numbers I've been receiving for the last 4 months at least 5 times a day, 7 days a week:

(800)831-7311 (multiple numbers) 800 Service transfer you to collection agency. Sometimes it gets really ugly when they call from a caller ID Private Number, but anyway let them rut.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH. They keep calling our home looking for someone that doesn't live here. We needed an address and you have been a great help. We are going to report them to our state District Atty.

a bill collector is constantly calling my number looking for someone that I do not know.  I keep telling them they have the wrong number.

I've been getting calls from this place for approximately 2 months.  Told them no one here that has anything to do with them.  Told them to get me off their list.  Still receiving calls, two or three a day at various times.  I've sent 2 emails and tonight I filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.  Hopefully this will get rid of the jerks.

They have been calling my cell phone for about six months trying to reach the person who used to have my number. Today, I filed a complaint with the state attorney general's office. They use this number and also various 800 numbers.
