A message was left on my machine. Stated from IRS and they are filing a lawsuit against me. I must immediately call 202-621-0025.

same here; I called the # back and some guy told me that he wanted to marry me, asked me my age, and said that I sounded sexy....don't think it was the IRS, ha!

Also got a call from #202 621-0025 - stating they were calling from the IRS regarding a lawsuit against me.  Julie, should have asked him what his income was for consideration - through it back at him.  ;)

Scam -- message said it was from the IRS  -- final notice - "We are filing a lawsuit against you." Sorry, folks, there's been no written notice or other notice of any kind. No way I'm going to call your number!

Same here. Just got an autobot voice message informing me the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and I am to call them back at 202-621-0025. Yeah, right. The IRS doesn't "file lawsuits". First, they perform an investigation, which the taxpayer is made well aware of and is legally, in writing, given the opportunity to participate in. The IRS also doesn't call you, using a computer-generated voice, to ask you to call them as they are "filing a lawsuit". Lame. These tricksters need a better game.

Same thing going to get sued by the IRS bs go ahead how stupid do these people think we really are.? Believe you me if it was the IRS calling it wouldn't be an automated  call

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Automated call left a message on my voice mail that said:  The IRS Services are filing a lawsuit against you.  Please call 202-621-0025.

I received the same call saying a lawsuit was being filed by the IRS and to call back 202 621-0025
They may be doing this to see if people will call the number back to verify they reached a valid number
and then sell it to telemarketers

Same automated call about law suit.  I think the Attorney General may be the office to notify.

I got the same message on my answering machine today. Claimed to be the IRS--taking me to court...Wrote down the number and deleted the message.

Got same robot call message-irs, calling about irs lawsuit against me and should call 202 621-0025 immediately-I live outside Orlando so not confined to west coast.  This is a scam. First got same call 1 month ago-tried reporting this to real irs/treasury dept, but there is no # listed to report scams like this to irs, us treasury dept or office of inspector gen'l! Instead must get, complete and then file a form to report same to government authorities!   What' a joke-that's how scammers stay in business. Budget cuts!

Just got the same call here in florida 202-621-0025,,,, Ha,Ha,,,,,I recorded it then I called them back and played to them ,then hung up ,,,lol ,,,see how they like it .

I also received a recorded call, which shows it originated from 61 11514400000601800, stating that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I was directed to call the 202 number to handle the matter.

I also received a recorded message from 202-621-0025 stating the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me, was feeling very shaky until my family convinced me it was a scam. would like to know the best place to report it.
