I received a call from a "Mr. Jackson" at this number (202-621-0183) telling me that I was approved for $4500.  All I had to do was use my debit card and wire him via Western Union $197 and he would refund that money and send me my "unsecured loan."  He offered terms of repaying the loan at $207 per month for 24 months.  He refused to email me any informaton about his company; I finally got a company name from him - National Unsecured Loans.I listened to my instincts and researched the  phone number he was calling from.  I found where this company is listed as a SCAM.

Received a call from 607-231-5382/Payphone on caller id. Message stated Officer Steve calling from IRS a a SS# associated with this phone # then you can't understand him. Leaves the 202-621-0183 # to call back. SCAM!!!

This came in on my work line so I answered with my company name.  The caller stammered - clearly befuddled - and I hung up.
