said i will receive a governnment grant for 9200 dollars since i have never been arrested or done anything wrong or commited any crimes asked if i wanted to have it seposited into my checking account or sent through western union the number is 2026210278 i want to know if it is a scam

recieved a call showed up on id as unknown man with HEAVY accent notified me that i was to be awarded $9200 from the gov't  once i obtain a "green dot" card load it with $199 and go to western union with the money confirmation number BG21695 then told me to call back on 202 621 0278 i never did go...scam or not????

I just received a call from a unknown number and the told me the same as above. They gave me and ID number and told me to call 202-621-0278. I figure it was a scam but tried the number anyway. They told me to pay $230 processing fee. I told him why I have to pay money to received money. Just take it out of the $9200. He started to get irate saying he not receiving the money for me to come up with it and I will received the grant money. Total scam.

they just called my son saying the same thing but havent asked for many yet ....hmmm yet

Just got the call came up anonymous on caller id was told i would receive 9000 gov grant for being a good person not filing bankruptcy or being arrested just call 202-621-0278 and give them conf.# sb1912 and they would send it out...what a scam!!!

i got those messages too saying he same thing but what is bothering me i went to apply for a loan and that number was listed as my p;hone numberso i wanted to find oujt who ikt is because i aint aying no money either to get a government grat

Things to believe:

* There ain't no such thing as a free lunch (TANSTAFL)
* If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
* You have not won big bucks from an unknown benefactor or a grant from the government  <<<<<<<<<<
* The tooth fairy really does not exist
* Everything you read on the internet is not necessarily true.
* It is illegal to pay money for a loan, BEFORE getting the loan!
* "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
* Microsoft did NOT call you to fix your computer.
* The moon is not made of green cheese.
* The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
* Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
* If you "green dot" or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
