Left a message that they were from the IRS and said it was a "final notice" before proceeding with a lawsuit.

We also got a call saying its final notice before proceeding with a lawsuit

I got the same robot type message saying it was the IRS And it was my final notice..

Just received this call with the same message. They don't ask for anyone person. Just say it's the final message. The IRS doesn't contact people thru phone calls only thru the mail.

Received two calls from this number saying from the IRS that i need to call them back for information. Final notice about a,lawsuit.  How do I report this number ? IRS doesnt contact you by phone. Only mail

I have received three calls from them just today. one at 9:37 am .... one at 12:51 pm.... and another one at 2:38 pm. Same recording about the IRS and being the final notice about a law suit. really tired of these calls

Message left said - "Officially final notice from the IRS - notification that the IRS will be filing lawsuit against you - call 202-621-0445 for more information" This is most definitely NOT the IRS! Do not call the number back.
Number showed as Washington DC on caller ID.

Got the same phone call at 1:35 p.m. Fresno CA what a joke hope people will be wise and not respond to this scam.

The person alleged he is from the IRS and tried to confirm my personal info to solicit money

Same, have received several calls.  Never answered or returned call.  IRS only communicates the action they are taking in writing and you have so many days to respond in writing.  If it was legit, you would have known.  Why do you have to prove who you are?  They need to prove who they are? Why would the IRS use a recording?  Sad thing is people that don't understand, like the elderly will be victims. Share your knowledge with those you know may be most vulnerable.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Imy fiance got a call from them as well claiming they there was a warrent being issued for her arrest that she needed to contact them immediately to settle these allegations... They even claimed to have officers show up at her house to arrest her. Honestly the phone call made absolutely no sense at all my fiance has never even had a speeding ticket in her life let alone a arrest warrent lol these guys are a joke....
