Just got a call from# 202-621-0453 a Chinese sounding lady ask for me and had my address and told me I got approved for a government grant for 7000. She said every year the government gives people who have a good record, pay taxes on time. I called the number and it was busy, then a man called me back and said this is Sam Benjamin.  Don't  be tricked people. This is a scam. The web site has a bunch of them so beware. So sad that people are doing this. They are not about Gods business. Satan came to kill, steal and destroy, he is the father of lies.

The government does not contact people to offer them money. If you do qualify for a government grant, the government does not request payment for it.

THERE ARE NO FEES ASSOCIATED WITH APPLYING FOR A GOVERNMENT GRANT.
Providing financial information to prove that you qualify for a government grant is typical, but you should never pay money to apply for a grant. People who run scams often claim to provide help and sometimes claim to be "federal government" officials, don't be fooled by these scams that request money from you.

I just got that same call figured it was a scam...call from my government desk phone and guess what no answer.  Just got a call back and told Mr. Benjamin that I was reporting him to the FBI because I work for the Department of Justice and he cuss me out.....People beware this is a real scam.....

I received a call from a foreign person saying the government picked me to get 7000 then gave me a number to call and a pin number. The guy I had to call was sam Benjamin he said in order to receive my money from Western Union I had to pay $265 in order to get my money that was refundable.

I just received an automated message from 202-222-1541 on my home phone telling me that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call 202-621-0453 for more information. THIS IS A SCAM!  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! If the IRS is going to sue you, you will be served formally with a summons and complaint. They WILL NOT CALL YOU to tell you you are being sued. I am reporting this number to the IRS.

I, too, received a message saying that the IRS was going to sue me, and to call 202-621-0453.   Glad to see someone else reported it. I assume it is a scam.

Automated irs call for money.. Get in line.

Received this call as well on July 20,2015  stating that I was being sued by the IRS and to contact this number.  Originating phone number was 202-222-1541.  SCAM

They left an automated  message saying IRS filing a lawsuit against me call back for details, Big Scam !

The same happened to me! They have my phone number and address and keep harassing us! They call everyday! What do I do? It's very scary. He is harassing my sister. Help please!

Caller had automated message saying they were the IRS and needed to speak to us about lawsuit that was being filed against us.  Said it was important we called back immediately.  The same message came from number 425-409-3645 yesterday.

Tell them you know they are a scam and will report them to TIGTA, the IRS police, they will stop calling.
