Just got a call from this number, they claim to be the I.R.S. however when I call back it goes to voice mail, without identifying the agency or person. Anyone else had the same experience?

tried to read a news story on MSN about Ted Cruz may not be eligible due to birth certificate issues and my computer gave me pop up to state that my files may be corrupted and to call technical assistance and files would be lost if I shut down and restarted computer also blue tech screen of death came up at the same time received cell phone call from IRS stating fraud issue contact this phone # 202 621 0639. Called from cell phone and hung up called from work both times 2 gentlemen answered with Indian Accents sounded like Indian Call Center in background second time asked for badge # he gave me BS470138 quickly hung up

I got the same phone call today!!!

Got a call that a fraud claim has been posted against me and it is a final call.  never received any previous calls and I was told to call the exact number that called me.  It is a scam - do not call the number....

Yes, I did this morning. "Last Warning!" LOL. Scam, just ignore it.

Just received the same voice mail on my cell phone. I wasn't about to call back until I did some research. Thanks for the heads up. I figured it was a scam.

I just received a automated call from this # stating there was a fraud claim that had been posted against me advised me to call the # back no other information was given. I'm sure this is a scam. When i called the # back the name of the company wasn't even stated on the v/m

Yes They called me thus is a scam. When I called back the said Hello like a regylar phone number. Dont fall for it. They are already reported to the PD

I just received the same call gave a bogus story and a vous BS# TO WRITE DOWN his name was David Paul, Indian accent fake, they called me from the "IRS" on a saturday! The irs does not call you on Saturday they're closed, glad to hear that when I Google this number, this came up, you guys saved me from making a big mistake! Thank you for posting your story!

I too got the same call today, same everything as above, when I goggled it thank god I saw this forum, thanks for the help!!
I figured as well that Saturday the IRS was not going to call, and the "thank you and have a nice day" ending really gave it away to me-LMAO-

These guys called me on Friday night. Called them back on Saturday and they hung up on me. Just called them back again because I needed some entertainment. They told me i would be arrested in 45 minutes if i didn't pay. Now I'm just messing with them.

Same call here.  Scam.  Delete the number and block the caller!!!!!!

Received a robotic voicemail without any information of who specifically to call or if it even had my name. It was saying there's a report of fraud against me & this is my Final notice. Figured I better google the number, which was District of Columbia # 202-621-0639 Glad I did, now I can mess with them if they call again lol

well I called them. they say they are the IRS.... and they let me speak to the manager.. his name was Barrack Obama.. I'd posted their number on facebook in hopes that a lot of people will call them.. I know I will be calling them back again and again.. 202-621-0639

This number called accusing me of IRS tax fraud wanting me to upload cash and meet with an agent. The 2 guys are from INdia with names of Mike Anderson and Kevin Lloyd. They were pushy and wouldn't let me off the phone.SCAM SCAM SCAM

Wife got this voice message today from the same number.

Just got the same automated message, sounded very robotic. Thank goodness for google!
