- MicheleGot a call from "Kevin Brown" with a heavy Indian accent - said I was being sued because a review of my tax records from 2008-2013 indicated I committed a "willful act to defraud" the government and I owed $1,947. This is the SECOND call in as many days. He provided a 'agent/badge number' of 147953. He wanted me to borrow the money from my colleagues at work, or go to the bank ... and he would hold while I did this. I was then supposed to take the cash to a specific 'depository location' Since this was the second time I spoke with this disgusting liar, I decided to have some fun with him. About 10 minutes into the call he realized that I was never going to give him money and I was messing with him he asked "What is it you really want from me?" I told him I never wanted him to call me again and he said "But I love you" and hung up. PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE ....don't fall for this crap

- LwI received a call from this umber, and an automated message said it was the IRS and that I was being sued. I knew it was a scam of course. I called the number back and a man with a very thick accent answered with "IRS". I lit into him like you would not believe and told him the actual IRS would be coming after him shortly and to expect it.
I then reported him to:

- BethI came home to find a message today that said it was the IRS - final notice of being sued, and to call immediately to (202) 621-0694 for additional information. Except that my phone registered the call as being made from (847)384-9954. I expected it was a scam, but called anyway. No answer, so I hung up. My phone started ringing just seconds later, from the 847 number. I didn't bother to answer.
- Caller: IRS faker
- ccBig scam! A pervious post said they spoke with agent Kevin Brown, badge number 147053. I called and asked for Kevin Brown., that he was working on my case This really seemed to confuse the guy. He said he would transfer me to agent Brown, he put me on hold and I hung up. If you do call back, be sure to ask for Kevin.
