Don't answer it or give them any information. I received the same call and it is a scam. They told me that the government approved me for a 9200 grant! They called me from 202-000-0000 and when i heard what they had to offer game me the same number you have along with a conformtion aproval number and told me to call it then they tried to get me to send a processing fee for 200 through western union?  Said that the funds would be in my account the same day. IT IS A SCAM!!! I Google'd District of Columbia scam for government grants and alot of people received the same B.S I did but under a different phone number but they change these numbers all they time. I guarantee you if you answer you will hear the same thing i just told you!!

Yes, you are right. I have been getting calls from them for the last few weeks and they told me the same thing. I was approved for a $9200 grant. I wish there was some way to get them put in jail. I had a boat load of questions for them and they hung up on me. I googled the number and got there location and told them I was reporting them to the feds that's when they hung up on me.

Just got a call from these Bozos.  Because I have no criminal background for six months the government is giving me $9200.  What planet are they from?  Couldn't they come up with a better story?

They have been calling me about 3 times a day. They barely sleek English and get frustrated when you can't understand them. I told them to take me off there list and still insisted on calling them back with the conformation code to speak with a supervisor. It didn't seem right witha phone number (202)000-0000. It looks like a prank. I took there numbers down and googled the number they gave me and was sent here. I hope no one gets fooled with this.

I also received calls from this number requesting the same thing.  Certainly DO NOT give out your personal information!!!  I hate to see someone get scammed by these folks.....

We call the number back from a different number and they answered and said they were from the grand palace b.s.

I got a call stating that I was eligible for $9200 from a government grant. They put me on hold and I just simply hung up.

Received a call from someone with very broken English, had a hard time understanding, but finally realized what they were saying was that I qualified for a $9200. grant because I had no outstanding debts and no criminal record. HE had called me earlier in the day and I hung up but this time I was curious as to what this jerk wanted. He gave me a code # and a phone #, 202-621-0786. I agreed to call and hung up then googled it to find out what I already knew, that it was a hoax.

Yeah I just received the same b.s phone call.

They have been driving me crazy.  I kept arguing with them that I could not understand them - frustrated the heck out of them.  Talked to 2 different people on one call.  Really upset them when I looked up the number and advised them I knew it was a scam and I would not be calling the number.  Before hanging up they were arguing like crazy.  I told them I was blocking number had better not hear from them again and let them hear the dial tone after I listened to the fight for a while.

They called and said I was selected for a US Gant because I did not have any Felonys or arrest records, also that I could receive $9,200 to use as a business or to pay bills.  I could not receive it in Money order form as they wanted my bank account.

Got the same call, only from 658-7463. Got the same number for the return call though, 202-621-0786.

I recieved the same call an hour ago. They called me from 202-621-0786 and told me the same thing they told you. The grant was for 9,200 and I needed to purchase a Green Dot prepaid card and load it with 200 dollars,then call western union to recieve the money.
