A lawsuit has been filed for tax evasion... bla bla bla.... scam

pre recorded message that IRS was going to audit me,  SCAM

Called and said I am being investigated for tax evaision.

Called and said I was being investigated for tax evasion. I clicked "1" and spoke to someone and he did not sound professional at all asking me to verify my information.  I told him I was not giving any of my personal information until he verify who he was.  He said "I am with the IRS".  They even have your first and last name. When I told him I could not hear him well, we said he was going to transfer me to another department so they can explain in detain, then the phone hung up.

Unrecognized caller. I didn’t answer. Left no message, blocked. Guess I will be busted for tax evasion.

Scam. Do not answer.

This number is a scam. He claimed he was an agent, but had no real information, nor could he identify who he was with. Total scam.

Received a call at my work phone. Told the IRS was filing a lawsuit due to tax evasion. Push 1 for additional info.
