Also received a call -- interestingly the caller id actually reads "District of Colombia" not "District of Columbia" which is the proper spelling.

Your are right I just received this call yet again today and Coloumbia is missspelled

same w me - a few call over the last few days - have not answered

I've gotten several calls from this # in the last couple of days.  Didn't notice the spelling error before reading this thread.

I got a call from this number yesterday, but did not answer. I called back this morning and got a recorded message indicating this company does customer service surveys, debt collection, fund raising, direct sales...

The woman who called from this number said she was calling on behalf of the Washington Post. But this was not a sales call, she said. My wife cut her off moments later when she offered a free shopping insert. All we had to do was confirm our address...

Received a call today from this number, June 16,2009,12:25 p.m.  I did not answer and a message was not left.

Called at 10:55 AM, Wednesday June 17. Did not answer. Caller left no message.

Just got a call from this number; Columbia mis-spelled "Colombia."  I answered, and a woman said "sorry, must have called the wrong number."  Lots of background noise - like other people on phones.

Just got a call from this number. Caller ID also shows the 'Colombia' misspelling. I answered after the 3rd ring and was hung up on before I could say hello.

Got a call twice yesterday from 202-629-9517.  Caller ID states Washington DC .  I did not answer either time and no vmail was left so I did not return the call.

Got a missed call from this number on my cell phone.  No message left.

Received call from this number with same mispelled caller ID.  Just dead air for 10 seconds before it clicked off.

Received calls from this number 3 times on 6/16  (11:37am, 2:16pm. 5:25pm) 6/17 (8:43pm)  6/18 (12:57pm 5:54pm 8:46 pm)   6/19 (8:25 pm)  6/20 (12:32pm) and just now 6/21 (3:59pm).  Why are companies allowed to harass and hide under anomymous numbers?  I am on the do not call list and still harassed like this.  I answered the call today and no one said anything on the other end of the line.
