I know there is no way I owe them anything and if I did, my cellphone is not the way they would contact me. The message was a very generic attempt to scare me into sending them money. The message never addressed me using specific personal info, it must just be a robocall.

I'm in a lawsuit filed against you your case number is 389-4436. The moment you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney off record to return the call. Issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My phone number is 202-629-9904. Do not disregard this message do return the call now if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either then the only thing I can do is wish you a good luck as the situation unfolds on you. - KendiForeign accent threatens legal action if call not returned immediately. - mjThese people who call are nothing more than lazy, stupid cowards. They need to get a clue that the general public in North America is becoming wise to their tired methods and only serve to bother and irritate people with their spoofed calls from the IRS threatening lawsuits and jail time. I wish there was a way to shut them all down for good.
