    me too! Same old scam. If the IRS wants me they can come and get me. They will not call on the phone. This has been going on in NM for quite some time now.  One would think that by now, everyone should know it is a scam.

    This was a computerized voice informing me that this is an official call from the Internal Revenue Service Legal Department and that this was their last attempt to contact me.  The IRS would not use a computerized message; they would send a certified letter outlining details.  This is a SCAM!

    We received call from this number with caller ID showing IRS. Voice message they left said it was the IRS and they were going to sue us.  We ignored the call.

    I let it go to my answering machine and it was a pre-recorded message stating they had tried to contact me several times and that I needed to call this number (202-657-6497) in order to prevent a law suit being filed against me.

    Thank goodness for answering machines and not having to deal with scam artists like these!

    Received a call from 202-657-6497 and left a message about a law suit and to call back.  When I called back, they asked what number received the call on and when I would not give him the number, he told me to F OFF.
