SCAM call.... pretending to be from IRS.... the vocabulary is so bad on the recording I can't believe anyone would fall for this....

This is a scam. Don't answer

Irs Scam - Carrier was VAIL -- Contacted - They no longer have it - Hitting up Neustar to report these scumbags - Do not fall for this.

They also send matching texts from another phone number 202-609-0395 to call this one..

Scam. Claiming to be IRS; said I had "a fraudulent tax return."

It's just the fake IRS. My call blocker just LOVES them! 😁

Same thing, robo voice claiming to be the IRS.  As if.

An automated call claiming to be the IRS that said they found tax fraud and to call them back.

Same as others. Called the number (answered "Criminal Division"), told them I was putting in FTC report. Guy said "GREAT!" and I hung up.

Got exact text with 2 voice messages prior

I just got a call from the same number (202)657-6559 it was an automated message saying there was fraud on my tax return and needed to contact them immediately......SCAM!!!!!!!!!  I am disabled and haven't filed a TAX RETURN FOR SEVERAL YEARS!!!!!!!  100% SCAM, don't bother with it

Hi are tess the matter at hand is extremely time sensitive and urgent as after all that we found that there was a fraud and misconduct on your tax. Which you are hiding from the federal government this needs to be rectified immediately so do return the call as soon as you receive the message the number is 202-657-6559. I repeat again 202-657-6559. Thank you.

They literally just called me. It sounds like a scam. The first call is a robot, if you call the number back some asks for your name to "pull up your file". Report them to the IRS.

We are a business located in Durham, NC and I just got the same call! Can't someone do something about these sleezeballs?!

Same thing. Call saying that I had a fraudulent tax return I was hiding and to call them back immediately. What a joke.

I'm very happy to see this form. That number (202-657-6559) left me a voice mail too. It had meet pretty upset. I couldn't imagine what it it was referring to. I'm very relieved to see that it is just a scam. Who should I report it to?
