IRS Scam - Automated recording (sounds like Stephen Hawking) informing you that this is a final notice, that legal proceedings have been started, to prevent a court notice and or possible arrest, I needed to call them.  TOTAL SCAM - BLOCK this number

Foreign IRS Scammers.  Call the number back and pretend to be an old lady named Margaret that is hard of hearing.   They hung up on me eventually but it was fun.

Claiming I committed fraud

An automated voice telling you that you have been hiding from the IRS and to call this number to avoid jail time.

Total SCAM!! Automated call claiming they were the IRS. "Agents are in route to your office at this moment to place you under arrest for tax fraud".

I received a similar call, suggesting that I had unreported income. I was suspicious of the call, so I called them back to hear rap music in the background the first time and other strange sounds the next time. When I stated that I could not hear them due to these noises, I was told by someone who claimed to be an investigator with a heavy eastern India accent that they would call me back. crickets
