Not hard to guess who is the criminal.  Blocked number.

Same here even was interested and called back, they hang up

This guy from another country leaves a message with a robot which asks to call back. He leaves a text stating its about the IRS and it's urgent to call back; upon doing so he answers and asks if i worked a specific year and then hangs up. I call back and he just hangs up. He needs to be reported to the authorities.

Received a call saying I was going to have a Warrant for my arrest!!! SCAM

just got this SPAM auto voice number telling me there was Fraudulent activity on my Tax Return.

I also just received a "robot" call from this number 202-684-3345 saying there was fraudulent activity on my tax return after an audit. They never give up so they.

Just received a call from this number (202-684-3345). They left a message saying you should call back immediately, which I did. Then, this guy with an accent replied saying that I was hiding money from IRS. I asked how? he said I do not know. I said if you do not what you talking about then DO NOT CALL me. He said, I will send the police. I said go ahead and hang up on him.

Good Morning Everyone!  I received a text this morning that read as though it were an actual IRS message (I'm assuming).  When I called back a young man's voice was on the other end (I'm old so it sounded young to me) around 25 to 35 approx.  He said, "IRS department..."  His one fatal flaw was that he answered the phone right away.  Everyone knows there is a massively long wait before anyone 'real' picks up...what an idiot.  To spite him I called on re-dial around thirty times sequentially, then I texted, "Warning: you are being reported to the authorities for a criminal investigation and have been reported to the police department for a trace, have a good day".

DO NOT ANSWER .. DO NOT CALL BACK. This has been on the news. IRS will not call you. You would get a letter!!!      Recorded message was obviously computer voice: Hi, my name is officer Marcus Brown and I am calling from criminal investigation division of irs the matter at the hand is extremely time sensitive and urgent as after all of it. We found that there was a fraud and misconduct on your tax. Which you are hiding from the federal government this needs to be rectified mediate. Lee so do return the call as soon as you receive the message the number is 202-684-3345. I repeat again 202-684-3345. Thank you..

Do not answer or call back. Don't be surprised if these are Trump operatives seeking to trap, detain and deport.

irs computer saying I cheated my taxes . what a joke.. these people should be prosecuted.

Same as above. I got a voice mail and a text. I did call back. Person who answered told me warrants had been issued for my arrest. When I started asking questions, caller hung up.

Just got a robo call from 202-584-3345 informing me that I was trying to fraud the irs and was in danger of legal action.  I did not call back but called my CPA who instructed me that this was an attempt at a scam.
