Indeed this is a scam. I was told that I was selected by the United States government to receive a grant in the amount of 8500. I was told that I was a part of a survey that I know I did not participate in. the guy had a very strong Indian accent and I could barely understand what he was saying. He verified my age and address then gave me this number to contact his manager who had an accent as well. Atleast she did til I explained to her wait a minute before we go any further I just want you to know I've already researched this whole thing and I know its a scam...long story short she got upset accent cleared up pretty fast as she raised her voice at me yelling "HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS IS A SCAM" and then hung up on me smh...thought it was hilarious lol but becareful my brothers and sisters BE CAREFUL...

Just got a call from these people. Could hardly understand a word she said. Had the wrong last name and wrong address. Said i was getting 8500 because i have no criminal record.  Called he 'accountants ' number. No answer. Suspected this was scam so googled the number. Glad i did.

The first time I got this call I hung up after he said something about a government grant as I could not understand a word he said and could not believe the federal government would hire someone like that to call American citizens to give them money.  In fact, it took quite a few tries for me to understand what little I did get. The guy today, though he had a heavy accent, was at least understandable the first time around so I heard him out.  Other then my age I gave him no information as he already had my phone number and address.  I tried to call the number he gave for his supervisor, but there was no answer, so I decided to look it up.  What I want to know, is if this is a scam why there has been nothing done to stop it.  It's one thing to not disband and arrest Collection Agencies who, though very annoying, especially when it's not you they're calling for, are just doing their legal jobs, but a scam is illegal and it needs to stop.  How do I actually report them to an agency that can stop them, because though venting here is cathartic, it is otherwise a waste if the right people are not reading and acting on our concerns.

They are a scam!! How do i get ny moneyy back? Im young and dumb and fell for it. Stupidity. How have they not been caught? Rediculous
