I am so sick that this group of people have such disrespect for people who might really believe them as I came way to close.  Please look into this agency as I am perplexed how they can continue to do this type of crime.

My wife just received a call voicemail just now.  Do we report this to the IRS or are they fully aware?  If they are why is this number still allowed to make calls?!

Please call and report it....otherwise they will continue this undue invasion and harassment to other people.....

OMG - same exact person called me today.  We  have to report this to the authorities....

LOL! My grandmother had this on her answering machine... she's well trained and ignored it. She just laughed at how cheesy the recording was. It's like an old 1993 Apple voice over app that some kid made. I knew it was a scam but I always check here just to see. Still laughing about it.

PLEASE, don't fall for this, the IRS personally serves you with an agent or by certified mail, not a $20 program from 1993! Give the feds a little more credit, but just a little. ;)

Just had a call from one of these individuals at this number.  Really shook me up - made claims of filing suit against me - having me arrested, etc.  Had strong east Indian accent, very hard to understand.  Spoke to CPA friend who explained this was a scam being  used on many people, especially elderly.   Was told IRS does not work like this.

Same here. This is the second scam call (one from a California number) with the same message. I have no problems with the IRS. I hope NO ONE falls for this scam.

Had a call on my answering machine when I came home from work today - stating it was the IRS calling and that they have been trying to reach me that they were starting a law suit against me and that I should call 202-684-6378 immediately.

I did not call back and looked up the number to see if I could find out who the owner was.

Wasn't too upset because I know my taxes are ok and I had something about this scam recently.

I just recieved this voice mail message and at first it was a little startling to hear the IRS is starting a lawsuit against me.  So, curious by nature, I googled the number and here I am.  These turds need to be dismantled and hopefully no one will give them their information.  Stay vigilant folks!

Caller called on 12/4/2014 at 10:33 a.m. from the above phone#. It was an automated voice message stating that "we have been trying to reach you regarding your final notice and lawsuit from I R S. (They spelled it out slowly) and to get more information on this lawsuit I was to call 202-684-6378. The message then ended.
