My ex husband got a call from this number saying he is wanted by the federal government for tax fraud and that a warrant would be used for his arrest. He stated that the arrest could lead to penalties as much as 60 thousand but he could pay 3 thousand today to avoid a warrant being sent out.

They called me too but I don't even do taxes. I'm 17. They scared me

Scammers. They are trying to trick you into believing you have incorrectly filed taxes and you owe the IRS

Same thing happened to me..I was told the same thing...I tpld them how come I didnt get a written letter from the government  that I need it prove..and they hung up..

just a bunch of Indian [***] from India, thanks for the greedy corporations who moved customer service jobs to these disgusting nations and allowed these primitive [***] to learn how to use the computer and have access to our personal information .

Same thing just happened. They said I owed 2930.00:.. People will do anything to get money now-a-days

I'ts a SCAM do not give them any information. They are out to get your hard earned money. If you owe money to the IRS they will mail you a letter informing you not call you.

Same thing. They left a msg twice in one day. I blocked the number

This Indian guy keeps calling saying I have a warrant out for my arrest for tax fraud.

If he keeps calling, do you suppose that has anything to do with the fact you keep answering? hmmm..... Time for a new plan?  Or a call blocker?

So the message said that I was 'hiding' something from the IRS - The crooks should have chosen some better words than that if they were trying to scare folks. My fraudster antenna went up smelling something suspicious. ONE quick search and their crap is exposed. Hope people don't fall for this trick.

I just got a call from this number today & they said I had a warrant out for my arrest! He said I owed $3000! It scared the crap out of me expecily since I file my taxes the right way Every year!! Because of this Google I know it's a scam!!! I was really going to start paying it off too smh!!! People doing these scams deserve to go to jail!!!!

Same here, got a call from this morning today.  They said I owned $3950 that I have to pay today to avoid a warrant send out. I've reported to the local authorities.
