    The FTC says if any loan company wants you to send them money UP FRONT for ANY reason, then it's a SCAM  http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/telemarketing/tel16.shtm

    I got a call from this number. Caller ID was Washington DC.. the woman with an Indian accent said my first name and said I selected by the government to receive a seven thousand grant, of which taxes will not be withdrawn from nor will I ever have to pay back. I just said oh really, and she hung up. I called back, but the line was busy. Obviously it's some scam BS.
