They are giving away $1000.00 grant money but you have to buy a greenbox money card and put $250.00 onto and then call them back with the card number onto it. So I said to them so you can take my $250.00 and keep it and then I don't receive the $1000.00 then she hung up onto me.

It is a scam - please hang up immediately.  

It's a scam. It will come up as unknown and they will give you a confirmation number. Just hang up and report them.

They used very rude language

They told me I was chosen to receive a Federal Free Grant of $9000 and gave me Money Approval # and to call this number to receive the money.  Sounds fraudulant.

I got a similar call for getting chosen to receive a Federal Grant of $9/k . . . and asking me to top up $250/- into MoneyPak Greendot voucher and share the number . . . It's a scam & fraudulent.

Got a call. Gave me confirmation number to claim $1000 and a number to call.  Then asked my age.  I refused.

Not calling back.

I got a call, and as others have said, they gave you a code number to give to them. I listened, got the numbers and hung up knowing no one gives $9,000.00 away without it being false. I wish, but it just doesn't happen.

Exact same thing happened to me. First time they tried last week they said I get a federal grant of $10,000, this week they said $9,000.
They read a semi-legit sounding reason why I get the money, but couldn't tell me which office they were working out of.
Definitely sounds like they are from India or Pakistan, very heavy accent.
I'm definitely not calling back the callback number! Sad that they are scamming students with student loans. [***]!

same thing happened to me today said I was selected to receive a $9,000 dollar grant and to get a money gram card I new right away this was a scam so I hung up and left home came back noticed they called me again so called them back same lady answered the call and says to me "you say we a scam you are now removed' and then hung the phone up on me lol so I called back and let her know she was scamming the wrong person and that I was reporting her she then hung the phone up on me again lol . .....I should have fun and call them and say they have money coming from me and all they have to do now is pay me for it LMFAO !!
