I revcieved a call 310.777.1324 telling me to call 202.738.1623 to have my grant money released to me from the federal reserve. I'm not sure why. and I'm concerned about this being ligt

I  received a  call from 310-777-1324  telling me I was chosen by the government sometime last December for $9000  tax free  because I hadn't had a bankruptcy in the last  six months and no criminal record then I  could  call 202-738-1623  to have the money released by his supervisor  basically and even  gave me a  money approval  number.   He said the number was Washington DC and wanted to know how I  wanted it,  deposited into bank accts or on my  Visa or MasterCard  or  cash.  when I  told him it was a scam he was like it is your money but I can close the file. I  told him to close the file.

Please DONOT give those people any of your personal information... they are trying to get money out ofyou. they will tell you to go to money gram and send money than they will turn around and wire 9,000.00 to you. Please contact your local police dept and get as much info as you can

this is totally a scam, some guy called me today and was saying the same thing as Leslie stated. creeps

I was told the same thing that I I needed to send $250 and then they would send it right back to me with my $9,000 I call them back and I said this is a total scam because nobody uses the same name every phone call because you're usually more than one operator in this I knew this was a red flag and he got really nervous and started raising voice at me please do not send any money anybody that receives call

202-738-1623  want to report one more time about this James Miller he called me back about 2-3 more times today saying if I was going to get the money or he was going to take me off the system and I said this is a total scam leave me alone leave my information alone or I will put you in jail he started calling me names but my p**** is why didn't you see into my husband had a boyfriend big black dick in the list goes on and on I just couldn't believe the words are coming out of this man he sounds like he's Indian he started seeing a lot of races comments he sounds like he's crazy in the head and started laughing when I said the police is going to get youreport these and do not send any money this is a total scam

We were called from these scammers as well on June,29 2013 please read it's very important to protect your selves out there on this day my husband received a call and we have been receiving calls from who knows where too these people offered my husband $9000.00 dollars but we had to send an amount of $310.00 dollars they wanted the bank account sorry we don't have one they wanted a credit debit card sorry we don't have none and they offered to send it by mail full cash we said ok no problem but then they jumped again saying that they need $310.00 through western union instead we said ok well go to western union but there is no way we are going to do such thing either these people sound like chinese with the accent they have who are they why are they doing this to us the americans we work hard to have money and these people are nothing but a bunch of rats con artists scammers do not give your information to anyone that you don't know these people are completely strangers and they are trying to make money from innocent people as well please someone stop this we have had to change our phone numbers do to this issue and still we receive call from con artists WHO IS JIMMY JHONSON BEWARE!!!

3.)IF YOU RECEIVE A PHONE CALL FROM SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW BLOCK IT.
4.)REPORT THE PHONE NUMBER YOU DON'T KNOW.
5.)IF THEY GAVE YOU THEIR NAMES REPORT IT AS WELL EVEN IF SUCH NAMES DON'T EXIST.

They want to give me $9.000.00 I don't believe that. Think it is a scam and somebody is trying to get  money from me. Not chance!!

Just recieveda call from 202 907 8527 so I decided to check the validity of them online, to find this! It was some wman by the name of Olivia something and she knew my address and she told me that I was eligible to recieve $9,000 through one of three ways: by checkings account, savings account, or credit card and told me to call 202-738-1623 to get my money right away -.-" It's a scam, don't tell em anything

Just received a call from 202-907-8527 a woman, who said I was chosen for grant money in the amount of $8,000. How did I want it, cash, credit card, bank deposit. You could hear a lot of noise in the back ground like they were a clearing house or something. She told me to call 202-738-1623 to confirm with Robert Sloan.  She knew my address. And repeated several times to make sure I called and gave me a confirmation number. I did not call. I didn't know if it was one of those companies that you get charged outrageous amounts of money per minute if you call. I am going to report it to the authorities. Did not give out any information! I wonder how many people actually get stung by these people! My guess is they are disposable cell phones.

Here's what us do.you call western union and file the complaint with them.I too got calls from these $&$@
Last year I got same scam from different company.I reported it to w.u and they charged these people with phone fraud. If everyone does this maybe we can put an end to all this b.s.And they just rang me again  while typing this.

I knew it was  a scam when I asked for thecfda number and he didn't have it

I received a phone call today saying I have a grant for 9,000.00 from a survey I did back in November. I don't remember doing a survey. The guys name was Robert Sloan. I kept telling asking him questions related to the western union asking him how I would receive this without a confirmation code through western union he just kept telling me the confirmation code they sent to me was how I would receive it through western union. It seemed pretty odd so I looked it up on the internet and found this. The phone number they had given me was 202-738-1623. It was odd yo me because when I would ask for it to be sent to my back account he kept saying I would have to confirm it through western union. He said he was with the government Washington DC. I didn't believe this was true. They asked me if I got any criminal records. Then proceeded to tell me that I would receive this money. Now that I know I'm not the only one receiving these calls from the same people but to know there using different names is ridiculous!

Just received a call from this same scam and was told to call the number 202-738-1623 to claim my $9000 grant from the US government for not having claimed bankruptcy and not having a criminal record, just like the other posts.  When I pushed for more information on the name of the governmental program and for a website, I was "accidentally" disconnected and then quickly called back.  When I again asked for the name of the program issuing the supposed grant money,  I was quickly disconnected again.  People PLEASE do not be dumb enough to give some person your personal information over the phone!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!

Just got a call from 2027381623 name Robert Sloan saying I needed to call back n they would give me more information about a grant the government was giving out for something they could not give me the name of!!!!

Received several calls from 202-907-8527 the woman said to call Mr. Sloan @202-738-1623 and to give a code#BD0259 to Mr. Sloan to do a final verification that the US Government Grant Money was going to be awarded to me for $9,000.00.  I believe this is a scam and I would report them to the US Attorney General's Office - we were disconnected right after I told her this.  I still keep receiving these calls daily on my personal cell number from Washington, D.C. but I just don't answer them.
