I received a call with exactly the same info. I had received a $9000 gov't grant which I did not have to pay back. I also had to call 202-738-1623 and speak with Robert Sloan and give a code which was ms0259. I thought it seemed to good to be true. I called and then they said to send them $250 which would be reimbursed with the $9000. That seemed even more wrong. He said I had 7-14 days to call back fir him to activate and so the federal reserve person could send the money to me thru western union. No way this is legitimate.

I received a call yesterday saying I was approved for a government grant of $7, 000. And to call Robert Sloan at 202-738-1623 . He asked me to go to western union and send $255.00 to make sure I was lisa lund because other customers had lied so to be sure it was me send them the 255. & they will in return replace it with the $7, 000. I told him I didn't have the $255.  Right now he replied keep ur ID #  and call back .I hung up on him .

My husband got the same call from a Robert Sloan at 202-738-1623. Told us the same thing and us being in a slump as we are we thought it too good to be true. Until we read your posts thank you for making us see what it really was. A SCAM.... Beware cause he told us all the same stuff.

i just  got a call fro this # too and told me to call 2027381623 to call for robert as his manager..the # that called  me appeared on my cell as1646202000111. he said that the gov. grant me 7,0000  dollars in order to collect the money i have to give my credit crd number or my debit card # or if i want to claim by cash.if i will claim in cash i have to talk to his manager robert and he gave manager # as i have mentioned above.

A person from 202-000-1111 called offering me a government grant. She told me to call back and talk to their supervisor at 202-738-1623 to confirm the details of the grant. I gave them my home address (stupid) but refused them any other personal information. I went to the internet and searched the number she gave me and found a number of other victims that got this same call. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!

I received the same call and as soon as he asked whether I wanted it deposited in my bank account I knew something was wrong. He left the 202 738-1623 number and gave me an ID# and told me to call back his supervisor Ashley Cooper. What I'd like to know is how they get your private cell #. I have a landline and I know scammers call and as we've heard on the news don't even answer your phone if you don't recognize the #. It's bad enough the home phone rings constantly with annoying calls I don't pick up but I'm upset that I can't even trust calls coming in on the cell phone.

This man was Indian as well. I can't believe he has my cell phone #. I will now watch for that # coming up and definitely not answer it. These scammers are everywhere and I'm mad they have my cell#.

its funny how i called this number from a television show of a preacher talking about getting money and stuff from grantsthen three days later I get a phone call.saying I got a 7000 dollar grantI think is a crazy, & I think its on commercial center showing these scams too

Called me today sayin I have $7000 in grant money do.you want it in cash bank account or credit card amd.I.looked up the number.and.found.this I should of known I.hope.im safe I gave them my name

I got that same damn call but the # was 2024446666. I told him I wanted it in cash cause I don't trust anyone with my info, he didn't ask for money but gave me a # 2027381623 to call with the id he gave me & speak to ashley cooper to release the $7,000.I bebelieve this is BS & these are probably the same ppl that be stealing ppls identities to file taxes. BE CAREFUL with these ppl EVERYTHING has a price & we are the ones loosing out.

Get eveyone you know to call there number and tell them they are scammers, if we call them 7x24 we can drive then crazy. Before you tell them where to go just mess with them. Act like a crazy person. The numbers are 240-391-7789 and 202-738-1623.  Call them non stop until they put you on there "Do not call list".
