Electronic voice (left message) that was difficult to follow- I heard fraud, back taxes, call this number immediately. Do people really call them back? I deleted without replaying the message for details. I figure if it is important a real person with an American accent will call me with a message I can understand as well as identify themselves. ANNOYING!

People!  IRS will never call you first.  It will always mail your audit information to you.
They had my old address and my cell phone number.  If they will answer.  Just let them know that they have been found out and that their is a forum page out there to warm people of their scam.  I am also posting a warning to Facebook as well.

I too received 2. Essages. I proceeded to tell them I'm not stupid and to stop callung. The proceeded to say they were with ISIS and they were going to F*** me up and everyone I am associated with.

I called and ask for his irs Id number he told me call back after 5 i said give it to me now kept saying call back after 5 i told his no speaking English ass I was calling police

I two got a couple of voice mail messages saying that their was a federal law suit against me and this was my last warning please call 202-738-4452 I pretty much now it's a scam because if the IRS wants you they are going to call you and send a certified mail to your address but I decided to call anyway and have continued to call them but it rings for a while then goes to a bizzy signal. Oh well not to worry as I don't ever break the law period so why would I be suied. Also I'm not aware of the IRS having a computerized call back??

I tried calling the IRS to see if they call about these things, but I could never reach a live operator.

My local police department said to call the Federal Trade Commission to report it. 877-382-4357. A really nice lady took my report. You can file a complaint online too: https://www.ftc.gov/.

I received a call from Michael Jones, he said that I was being sued by the IRS and that I owed $1800 and that in order to prevent them from taking my properties and freezing my bank accounts and possibly doing 3+ years of jail time that I had to pay $485.  When i told them that all i had was $400 he said that will do.  SCAM after he said that an officer would be coming to my house after i purchased a prepaid visa card.  Then he wanted to take information over the phone and said that this would be the only way to prevent me going to jail.  People please dont fall for this.  I am very aggravated, these people have no soul or mother!

They called my phone twice I refuse to give up a Ssn and they hung up on me.. I think it's a scam.. Have anyone looked into this.
