Got call from 202-747-7305 at 1:30pm and i answered in hopes that i could tell them to put me on no call list. I got recording w/ ladys voice telling me that they were sorry they missed me but was looking forward to talking to me soon, then it hung up! Now what sence does that make? How could you be sorry you missed me when i answered! ??? Lol how stupid!

I received the 4th call in as many days from the same caller at 8:57 a.m. this morning.  The caller is identified as American Lung.  This time I decided to pick up the phone and the male caller asked, "Is Cecil home?" to which I replied, "No, he's dead and please remove my number from your call list!"  My husband did pass away 2 years ago and, if this is indeed the American Lung Association calling, they need to get their facts straight before they call anyone.  Additionally, I make my charitable contributions when I see fit and NEVER respond to a pitched call, no matter how worthy the organization.

These calls are irritating and invasive.  I wish there was a solution to stop them all!

Like everyone else posting, I AM SO SICK OF THESE REPEATED, SOME TIMES MORE THAN ONCE, EVERY DAY to my business phone.  After two calls today, the second I decided to answer, waited the usual robo waiting span when some one answered asking for my MOM by name & I went ballistic and furnished the person more than an earful.  My MOM is elderly to say the least, has not worked for me since 1992(!) & does not live with me although I do protect her, manage her finances, pay all her bills these days & throw all most of the garbage begging (some times more than 30 / per day) in the trash!  We pick & choose whom she wants to donate to; AMERICAN LUNG ASSOC. will never be one again as I will not write a check to them after all the invasive calls!

IF TRULY IS THE AMERICAN LUNG ASSOC., THEY HAVE A PATHETIC BUNCH OF A**H*LES MANNING THEIR ATTEMPT TO FUND RAISE; who makes the most money after all?  NOT THE AMERICAN LUNG ASSOC.!  I SUGGEST EVERYONE REFUSE TO EVER DONATE TO THEM AGAIN; IF THEY WANT MONEY, THEY SHOULD SPEND THE TIME TO MAIL SO THE POST OFFICE CAN MAKE SOME MONEY & WE THROW AWAY Vs. BEING IRRITATED BY UNWANTED CALLS!  I hate to count the number of calls received just within the past ten days; none of them with a message left!  

anyone know if they are associated with the American RedCross? Thats the only person I can think of that they would have gotten my number from. 5th time I get a call from this number, It rings I answer and no one is on the other line. District of Columbia is what my cell caller id reads.

You have a wrong number. This person has been dead 5 years. Stop calling.

Nobody at 800notes.com called you!  Why do you think that posting an anonymous message on a public website will make the calls stop?  You need to deliver this message to those that actually called you.  If they won't listen, then block the number.

Have received at least 5  calls from 202-747-7305 in the past week and a half...comes up on phone ""..one call was received on December 26  at 8 am!!!  We are on the DO NOT CALL LIST but the calls from this number continue in morning hours before 9 am..

Called and first asked for my father. He's been dead for many years. Nice try.

Called 23 times since the 23th of december, calls at at different times of the day, this is harassment.

I have blocked this number; my phone rings only once to indicate I am receiving a call from a number I've blocked.  These fools continue to call 2-3 times per day.  When are they going to "get it"?  If I wanted to talk to them they wouldn't be blocked!

I get called 3 times per day by this number.  Please stop!   IF this is really a telemarketer for American Lung Association, then need to get their act together and stop this stuff.   I'll never give them another cent!

Go to the American Lung Association website.  Click on "contact us" at the bottom of the page.  Send a note with your phone number asking them to never call you again.  They responded to me within 1/2 a day and took me off their list!  

They just called my number.  No message. Blocked them.

Just received a call from (202) 747-7305 at 5:15pm (PST) on my cell. The phone display said it was a call coming from the District of Columbia. I don't know anyone from that state so I didn't answer. No voice message was left so I'm assuming it was probably someone selling something because if it was important they would have left a message to have the call returned.

Wow!    I should have answered, it was WASHINGTON DC calling!

Called and didn't pick up-they didn't leave a message. Seriously, if they want us to keep donating they might want to stop calling at all times! In my opinion these people aren't Non-Profit if they pull this crap. I still believe that no one should be exempt from the Do Not Call List!

I keep getting phone calls from the number: 202-747-2139, they keep saying that owe them money, but they would only except a payment by credit card only no money orders only credit cards, the minute you ask them there address to mail the it, they hang up. THIS IS A SCAM........

Over only two days received calls from ALAMEIDA via (all 202 area code) 650-6149, 770-2429, 770-2489, and 558-3142, and perhaps other sneaky numbers. Cannot be the legitimate American Lung Association, can it? Probably phishing.
