Called left message saying to call today or they will  call employer about check fraud?

Is this a scam?

They called me saying to same thing ^^^

They called my wife to.  Obvious scam.  Funny as We dont write checks or send money.  Lame attempt.

Got the same call. Called the number and it said you r being recorded if you don't want to be recorded hang up.  Fraud?

I recvd the same message saying they would call my employer to verify, then send me court documents! When I called back it said if u don't want to be recorded hang up, then it says no one can take your call and the phone hangs up.

I have been getting calls from these scammers all day!

I have been getting them too, they even Called my job. Don't know who it is as I don't write checks either.

They keep calling my work leaving messages Aauugghhhhhh!

Phone number 202-803-5785  Same problem got a call they left a message had till the end of the day or will be charged with check fraud! Called to see what they were talking about said , I had an outstanding pay day loan have never used anything like that. When I told them that they told me to check my credit report so I did and it showed nothing like that on it .When I called back they got nasty & said they would see me in court! Told them to bring it on!

They called me too. Stupid

What is the point of them calling? I called back but they never asked for money.

This number called claiming some type of check fraud. I told them that I did not have a clue. They said it happened in 2010. That I would have to go to court if If I did not accept the settlement

states its a court action needs to be responded to for bank fraud

Received  same call from this number  today  and they left same message as above but they used the name of a person that I do not know  who I've gotten  calls for  from a collection agency since phone company assigned me the number,

I just received an automated message saying I had till end of day to call or they will contact my  employer to report that I have been involved in bank and or check fraud - and that I will be sent to court - I am so scared to call - not sure what to do?

This same number keeps calling my daughter's high school (attendance office) and tells them that I need to call this number back.  The attendance lady calls my daughter down to tell her to have me call this number back because they keep calling for me and that the phone call back was very important.  A complete embarassment to my daughter.  Why are these a**holes calling a local high school.  Anyhow when I called the number 202-803-5785 I get a prerecorded message that this message will be recorded and if I do not want to be recorded to hang up.  Well I staying on the line and was disconnected after 33 seconds w/ nobody on the other line.  This is harassment towards me and my daughter.

I got the same recorded message as everyone else. Have until the end of business day to call them or I will be sent to court/have check or bank fraud on me-blah blah blah. I'm nervous as I have done payday loans in the past, however, it's been a great deal of time since. I should probaly contact them directly....anyways. I am ignoring this. As I am sure businesses also have to state who/where they are calling from. I WISH there was some place I could report all these calls, and they could actually have action taken againist them IF it is a scam.....argh. frustrating. good luck to all!

I have received 2 calls today, from this number 202-803-5785 I called the better business bureau in Washington DC and the BAR Association they have no record of this company which I was told by the caller Michael is: Worldwide Requisition (he told me he was from a law firm).  He told me I had until the end of business today to pay.
HOPEFULLY someone has an answer if this is a SCAM....
