They really fooled me I'm young and thinking ok money so i sent they money they were asking in and i still haven't got the grant they promised please be Careful because this could be you.....

Got a call from a different number, but this one is supposedly the account manager's number, named "ERIC CARTER"...total fraud. I'd given the previous guy my prepaid card number, he told me I'd have a few more steps to complete and could have my money within 45 minutes. He asked my name, age, prepaid card number and address. He gave me a grant confirmation number and told me to contact his account manager. I did, left a message saying that I needed some questions answered. I ended up calling him back shortly after researching the number and finding out it was a scam. I told him to cancel the transaction and that I wanted a cancellation confirmation. He got very angry with me and started shouting "F*** YOU!!" I repeated that he'd better not make any transactions with my card information and that I was going to report him to the BBB. He shouted again and hung up. I had to call my prepaid card account center (WalMart Money Card) and have them cancel the card just in case they tried to make a purchase anyway. I hope people (even me) get smarter about these types of scams. I'm in a financial bind and $8400 sure did sound good, but not from a scam!! People, do NOT give out your information! If you get a call from a strange number, google it and see what information comes up first!!

This idiot posing as eric carter is gonna get shot playing games with people promising that he is from the department of treasury and going to give me 8400 dollars as a U.S grant if I only send 211 dollars to India. Luckily God was watching me and I googled the phone number before sending money..Now I'm gonna call the [***] and curse him out.

I received a call stating I was approved for a grant for $8,400.In order to get the money I had to western Union $280 to a charity and the check would b issued wihin 30 minutes. I told him that the government does not charge for grant money. Received.
