Robocall, saying I've had a lawsuit filed against me. Very suspicious and non-descript. Requests a return call.

This is an IRS scam. Do not answer or call back. Please read below from the official irs.gov website.
Note that the IRS does not:
• Call to demand immediate payment using a specific payment method such as a prepaid debit card, gift card or wire transfer. Generally, the IRS will first mail a bill to any taxpayer who owes taxes.
• Demand that you pay taxes without the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe. You should also be advised of your rights as a taxpayer.
•Threaten to bring in local police, immigration officers or other law-enforcement to have you arrested for not paying. The IRS also cannot revoke your driver’s license, business licenses, or immigration status. Threats like these are common tactics scam artists use to trick victims into buying into their schemes.

Robocall..partial call at that!  Says that I have had a lawsuit filed against me, and it was considered a direct violation against the government..blah blah blah.

Received VM from robocaller stating I have been charged with fraud & the US Government has filed a lawsuit against me in federal court and to avoid further prosecution return the call.  The robocaller conveniently cuts out the information that says under what circumstances said fraud was committed.
This is obviously a scam; the federal government will not contact you by phone to inform you that criminal charges of any kind have been filed against you.  Do Not answer or respond to any call/VM from this number.

Same here.  IRS filing lawsuit against me.  What a scam. These people should be in jail.

Nasty and threatening message left on machine.  Need to stop this critter

The robocall JWA got is exactly what I received yesterday around 4PM.  When I listened to the message the first time...scared the crud outa me. But i listened again and realized the robocall left out a lot of pertinent information. dang scammers.

Multiple Robo Calls threatening me, saying they are the IRS.

SCAM....BEWARE....Received 2 calls from this number today claiming to be from the IRS, stating I have committed tax fraud and a lawsuit is being filed against me and I will have to appear in court. They requested a call back to settle this before it goes to court. I hope they are caught before the con any victims into believing this is true!

I, too, received 3 VM from this # stating the same thing!
