"Officer Chris Martin" Badge No. IRM11021 claims he is an agent with the IRS and unless I fork over $3000 over the phone or by going down to the local Wal-Mart to wire the money to him TODAY, the Attorney General will be showing up on my doorstep in the morning with an arrest warrant and will seize my property and bank account because my tax returns from 2011-2016 have been audited and errors were discovered.  SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!  I asked why I could not go to my local IRS office in the morning to review their file or go over any past returns for these errors/omissions and he kept repeating "I am trying to help you from my end, you need to help me from your end to halt this arrest warrant."  I then asked him to pull up my 2011 return and to tell me what my gross reported income was for that year - to which he replied, "I cannot release that kind of information over the phone"... my response, "but you CAN release over the phone that you are issuing an arrest warrant due to errors/omissions on my past tax returns???"  He then told me he was issuing the arrest warrant as we spoke and there was nothing he could do to help me since I would not work with him... then hung up!  Guess if you don't play along and give out your banking info they don't want to play with you...  NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER give someone your banking info over the phone.  And if this were truly a government agency, they would be the FIRST to tell you they will schedule an appointment for you to speak with a local representative to review your paperwork and go over your returns before you have to pay them a dime... an audit requires them to review with you what they believe is an error and give you an opportunity to provide the paperwork to prove your deductions.

Recorded msg but sounded like a machine made  voice on a voice program saying i was getting sued by the IRS if i didnt respond back.  Scam!!!! I'm no idiot they try getting personal info.  Blocked the number!

RoboCall from someone claiming to represent the IRS, stating that there was am arrest warrant for someone at our house.

Said there's a warrant for my arrest due to back taxes and to call asap to prevent my arrest and make payment. I have received a number of these calls.

Same as above - irs has an arrest warrant - i knew it was a scam so i didn't call back - irs never calls a taxpayer by phone....They will notify you by mail.......
