I got a call on my business cell from this number saying it is from the IRS.  They said to call back because it is regarding a Lawsuit that is being filed against me.

I received a call from this number.  They left a voice mail saying they were the IRS about a lawsuit against me.  I used a different phone, made my number private, and called back.  Received a voice mail saying they were the IRS.  Unbelievable.

This is a scam call.  A voice mail saying that they are from the IRS about a lawsuit against me.  Don't answer it and report to police.

I just got a call with the same # from IRS and a law suit. My phone said the call is coming from Egypt!

Just got a call from this number. My cell caller ID said it's from Egypt. Message it's legal matter. Definitely a scam.

He says: Hello, I am Agent ..... (I don't remember what name he gave) He is calling from the IRS, I owe the government $3900. I should meet him at the courthouse to settle the dept or wire the money...
I say: Okay courthouse sounds good as I work there (Not really).. he pauses....
He says: wiring the $ would be easier.
I say: Not for me.. I have to take time off of work and besides I work at the courthouse, remember? Doesn't it say that on your paperwork?
He says:  Yes yes... the lawsuit is quite confusing and that he won't go into details to bore me....
I say: Why not, you see that I am a lawyer practicing in fraudulent wire scams, out of country prosecution and extradition of such felons?
He hangs up.......

Being Sued BY IRS

Caller was a recorded message that it was the IRS and a lawsuit was being filed against me.  Identified themselves as the IRS.

I received a similar call.  I tried to call back just to see what they would say.  Its amazing no one picked up.  There is another number doing the same thing, (206) 388-4903 out of Seattle, WA.  I have police warrants with 3 different numbers and I will be picked up in an hour.  I waited 2 hours and called back.  They asked if I was contacted by the police and when I said no, they said wait another hour cops will be at the house.  Still nothing.  So the 3 agents (Peter Scott, Jack Williams, Michael John) that sound like the same person were supposed IRS officers with fake badge numbers.

Just got the same call.  Then he called me from another phone number (800 - 829-3009) to prove he was legit IRS, but while I stayed on the recorded line (even though he warned me I was not to put him on hold or disconnect or the lawsuit would be filed), he expected me to answer the 800 number.  So he disconnected the 202 number in order to talk to me on the 800 number.  When I checked out the 800 number, it supposedly does belong to the IRS, so don't know how they did that. But when he got pushy and wanted the money in half an hour, I hung up.

Caller id said egypt. I've made it a practice not to answer numbers I don't know and just let them leave a message. Their message was the same as above. IRS filing a lawsuit against me and I should contact them at 202-810-9474. This had scam written all over it. I know the IRS sends official letters....and I haven't received a single one. *yawn* these crooks are terrible.
