They want to give me 9600.00 saying its grant money. Another number called me and told me all this and gave me this number to call and i can get my money western unioned to me

They wanted to give me $9600 too. But they want you to go buy a $200 iTunes gift card first. I think it might be a scam. Lol

I got a call from this number saying that they would give me a grant of 9600 if I go down to a Walgreens and purchase a $250 iTunes gift card and don't tell them nothing about what I'm using the iTune card for I'm supposed to tell the Walgreens clerk that it's for personal use

I got a call from this number saying it was a grant they want me to buy a $250 iTunes gift card don't tell the store clerk what I'm using it for I'm supposed to say it's personal use once I do that they will give me $9,600 through Western Union or MoneyGram

Why must they take advantage of those who are in need I didn't give him any information that would benefit them

I just talked to these people after the first call saying I was chosen for a grant. This "financial department" said I needed a $150 iTunes card. I told him" this doesn't make any sense. Why do I need an iTunes card for the government to give me money? What does itunes have anything to do with the government's grants?Why would the government ever need a vendor to be allowed to process something.I need to research this because it sounds like a scam and what you're telling me is not making sense at all. "

I received same call. was told I`m called from washigton dc and I won a grant for $10k I just need to call this number and give my id number which they also gave me. I knew it was scam just wanted to call for the action and see how stupid those ppl are. I called and gave the women that answered the phone some advise, I told her next time when you call have a more enthusiastic person to speak and speak better English you`ll have better luck that way lol

This guy called me from an overseas number first +117797987 and sounded like it was a call center from India. Who kept insisting he was with the US Federal Government Grants Department. I told him there was no such government agency and to give me the name and website of his company. He kept repeating he was from the agency noted above and If ididn't want the money that was fine. I told him of course I want the money....mail it to me, of course that wasn't an option, instead he told me to call another number 202-810-9649 and this guy told me I could receive the money by cash ($9,600) but first I had to go to walmart and call him on the phone pay $200 for some voucher and then he would wire me the money after talking to the Federal Reserve Bank. Everytime I asked questions his story changed. By the way, he said his name was Michael King for whatever that is worth. Finally I told him I knew he was a scammer and had already found his number on the internet as a scam and that the government doesn't work in the manner he is suggesting and hung up! When getting my banking info. wasn't going to work ,they tried to get at least $100.00 out of me..Ridculious! Do they think we are idiots or what?

So I got the same call. But I wanted to play. So I called number back after I read all these posts. My phone cut our after I gave him my confirmation number. So I called back and it was a cell phone voicemail I reached. So I told him I was in dc (which I am not)and I would find him and tear his guts open and dance in his pool of blood as his children and wife watched in dismay. His wife called me right back calling me a "[***]" and uncivilised then slammed the phone down. I laughed and called back. I got a dial tone and that classic "this number is no longer in service". So hopefully that's the end of that and they get a real job

I the same call saying I was going be given 9600 thousand dollars. BUT I honestly feel like the guy was trying not to laugh. I think it is a scam.

I just got a call from 14082588946 wanting me to call this number for  a 9600 grant . There has to be a catch to it.

I just got a call from 408-258-8946, they gave me a ID # of AC154 and then I had to call 202-810-9649 , they told me it was a grant for $9649.00 but I needed to send them $250 to get it released.  I told her there was no way I'm gonna send money to get money and I hung up!!

I got a call from they said the gov for pay my bills on time that I could get a grant for 9600 from the gov all I had to do was go to Walmart and get a hide card for 250 dallors and then they would rest tied my name and I could get the money right then so look the number up for drama and guess what there the number is didn't give them any bank account number at all

LIAR!!!  There is NO grant - and you are not smart enough to apply for one.
