Supposedly from US Government Grants Dept (which doesn't exist) stating that I was randomly selected to receive $9,000 in one of 3 ways.  Chinese men with very strong accents stating that they are govt employees. I played along with them giving a false SSN. I continued to ask several questions when `Randy Miller ' said "go F... yourself" and then hung up.

Was called to say I had 9000.00 Federal Government grant money. I listened to their scam just to see what they would say. They gave me another phone number to calll to talk to their "accounting officer" which I did not call. The second number was 202-813-0142

I received this phone call to about the $9000.00 grant that was free.  When I asked for a definition of free ( because where i was raised, grant always meant a payback ) they fed me full of promises that i would never have to pay it back and i could use it for anything that i wanted.  when i asked for employee ID number all the sudden they hung up.   BEWARE this IS A SCAM.  first callers name was Ronald Brown.   When called the second number that they gave me a guy by the name of randy miller answered phone.  And once again asked for employee number, he hung up.

Just got the same call from these losers googled the phone # while they were talking which brought me here.

I was called today from this number and they was telling me to go to Walgreens and get a i joist gift card and put $250 on it and then I read get $9,000 and within 45 minutes and I did not fall for it I said I'm going to do some checking before I do that cuz it was It was supposed to be a free government grant but the first number called me about it was 360 oh 630 the first number called me about it was 360-636-8544 and he gave you a 202-813-0142 call about and tell me and he didn't answer that told me I would be getting a grant a government grant that use me to get to receive it and this is the second time this game was poured on me this time I did not fall for it I'm going to do some checking before I put any money in anybody's hand because I think it is because I won't talk to something you don't have

It's a Scam-the Government does not randomly call people and award them thousands of dollar because they are a good citizen, pays their bills on time or haven't filed bankruptcy. In addition, these criminals will have you pay an acquisition fee (maybe $250-$500 or so). So they get your money and you get taken to the cleaners. You get no free money.
