So yes, I am signed up for NoMoRobo but I don't see anywhere on their website that explains the calls to this number. I appreciate the reminder that this is probably what's going on!

The No Mo Robo call feature detects robo calls and re-routes them to this number. You will hear the single ring while the call is being intercepted.

I have it too, and I LOVE IT! It is free, you can add any calls that get through that are robo or sales calls, or any illegitimate calls you receive. That is only IF they get through, they usually do not. Glad someone posted this! I was unsure about that number too! I also love this site!

This called me over twenty times in one day.

You shouldn't block it. All those one ring calls are spammers. It's a great service.....but waiting for the second ring seems like an eternity. It has cut down 80% of our home phone calls. Every time you hear the one ring, you should smile....another deadbeat has been dumped and saved you the aggravation of talking to them.

Nomrobo call blocking is the cause/problem.

Tried calling my mother at a 973 area code at her home and instead I keep getting a voicemail for this phone number

I think this may be the number for the message center, but I can’t verify it. So if you get a call you don’t answer, the “system” forward’s the call to this number which then takes a voice message.

Every seven minutes my landline rings just once. When I check my call history, it says I have placed  numerous calls (but not every seven minutes) to this number. I have never called it. What is going on? I have blocked this number. I hope the seven-minute one-rings stop.

Whenever I get an incoming call,  it's showing this number being placed at the same time. it's in my call history and I've never dialed the number.

I just noticed my phone records show this also.  Weird. I did not place the calls. What is going on.
