This number calls my 80yr old father multiple times per week. They are scammers and have already cheated him out of lots of money. If you have aging parents who are receiving calls from this number please have it blocked from their phone. The name they use with my dad is Frank Bennett

I was contacted by phone by someone claiming to be Frank Bennett, working for the Consumer Protection Bureau located at 941 North Capitol Street, N.E., Washington CD 20002, phone 202-866-7633 or 877-906-7315 x1002. He said that I was a sweepstakes winner and a company called Holiday Sweepstakes has been trying to contact me about and award of $955K that has had $205K taken out by the IRS leaving $750K that will be delivered to me. He says that  Holiday Sweepstakes is located at 6551 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, phone 855-331-2639 and I should talk to Angela White at 702-936-6707. He says that I will have to pay for an insurance to receive the check at the coat of one percent of my winnings or $7,500 which will be refunded to me. He says that I’ll be receiving a W-1099 form (which I don’t think even exists) to prove to the IRS that the taxes have been paid.

All of this seems very suspicious to me and I have no intent of following through with any of it.

As soon as he asked YOU to pay HIM it became illegal.  He is with the CPB like you & I are identical  twins - and that number is spoofed.  IGNORE!
