total scam, just testing my number to come back later and hit me up for real

Calls looking for Chris. When told no one here by that name goes into a speil that he is from ASV- Americans Supporting Veterans. When told to remove this number from call list starts telling more crap. I hung up. But this is not the only 202 number they have called from but always has ASV on caller ID.

asked for me by name......how did they get it?

The caller ID on my parents' phone had the letters 'RNC'.

Caller ID shows ASV, left no message. They also did the same using (202) 864-2164, 869-8807, 873-2789, 389-9877

Veterans Association SCAM.  Uses multiple different phone numbers.

ASV has called me 7 times in 2 weeks using these  202- #'s: 864-0465, 864-2164, 219-5080,869-8807, 873-2789,389-9877, 873-2766.   Initially, they asked for an acquaintance known to me as a veteran. I said they were not on here. I don't know why they are using this number. But with so many different 202 #'s, they are a SCAM
