Some scumbag called just to hang up on the answering machine.

Called and my machine answered, left no message, caller id said ASV I blocked them.

Answered call. Americans Supporting Veterans.

These people call me all the time.  They seem to have an endless supply of numbers at their disposal and too much time on their hands.  Get a life.

I get many calls from ASV which I don't answer, and the caller/s never leave a message.  I'm not sure of the other numbers they use, but the most recent call I'm getting comes from 202-873-2807.  I know that I've blocked ASV before, so that's why I know they use different numbers.  Not sure if they are a "legitimate" organization or not since they don't leave a message (which leads me to believe that there may be something fishy).  I will be blocking this most recent number....and I guess waiting for the NEXT number they use!

Have received several calls from ASV using different numbers (all from 202 area code).  Did a search on ASV and found Americans Supporting Vets PAC (Political Action Committee) that's located in the Baltimore Maryland area.  Website is pretty scant on details but says they take donations and use to support candidates that are "vet friendly".  I support vets, but I don't support PACs and have blocked these calls.

Just a scam.  Raised over $258,000 this year and spent $239,000 on fund raising activities.  $0.00 donated to candidates in a very important election year.

Called the office I work at 313 times (every 2-3 minutes) in a 12 hour period from 8pm-8am on 11/18-11/19. Recorded messages lasted 5 seconds with dead air. Filled up mailbox space, so not sure if we missed a call that was important!

Call time and time again. Answered a couple times just to see what it was. They ask for a resident of the home and immediately hang up when “no” is the answer.

Need to stop these clowns...a different number every time!

They call daily just to hang up. Scammers.

These people use a different phone # ea. time, so you have to block ea. ph. #. They constantly ask, "Is Jim there?" They are a PAC (political action committee). Apparently they think that harassing me with phone calls from early AM to late PM is going to convince me to donate $ to them. If I could, I would find a legal way to put them out of business so they'd stop calling and asking for a Jim who's not here, hasn't ever been here, and never will be here. I am more angry and irritated each time they call. And from the info above from other recipients of their calls, it looks like the vets they say they support hardly get any of the $ they collect. They spend most of the $ harassing people w/their calls, apparently.

If you don't know anyone in DC, just block the entire area code.
