The was to inform me that I was receiving a grant from the USA government a non applied grant the amount was $9,800.00 nine thousand eight hundred dollars and the confirmation  code is SN743 to be deposited  my bank account or credit card or Wal-Mart  CVS  OR WESTERN UNIONS  and I needed to secure a tracking number in the amount of $250.00 (lol no kidding ) I said that was a little bit strange and hard to believe  as that the two people that I spoke to were aison  or Chinese  something like that, the call was dropped or they stopped the and called back and then iI called back and no answer.

Total scam.  Grants are given only for very specific reasons, and you MUST apply - filling out stacks of paperwork - to see if you are eligible.  There are no fees required to apply for or receive a grant. More information at the link here:

Same scam. When I asked " why would they do something like this? Where are they getting the money to give away?"  It seems since I pay my bills and haven't claimed bankruptcy or have committed a felony I'm so good they want to award me with $9800. Wish it were true I could use the money.  The call was from 765-554-4666 and I was to call 202-888-4067 to set up getting paid.

Same scenario - Google the number just out of curiosity - already knew that the government is soooo not giving away free money especially right after an election!! Wonder how these people look at themselves in the mirror each day!!!

Got that same call today.googled it and found this page.

Government grant for 9,800  told me to call a number and gave me a confirmation  no.

I got the same call when they asked what I would use the money for I said to get me through schooling and they corrected me saying I would use it for family. But the first call I got was an unknown number that just kept calling so I answered and asked them to stop calling and they said "no we may not do that"

I literally just received the same exact call the $9800 to be sent by money gram. They said all I had to do was put $250 on an iTunes card to register my $9800 through the bank avoid paying irs fees by doing 3 transactions at money gram. !! What a joke. Once I told them I didn't have the money they stopped the call and told me if I wanted to do it in the future to call them back. Smh

They had me thinking it was my lucky day,  and when I asked why I gotta pay to get free money the guy got mad. I told them I don't have any money.. I could've seriously used $250 myself... they need to  be  stopped  #SCAM

Scam's still going, they call you, tell you the government is giving away free money, call this number and claim it with your access code.

I called them back after hanging up on them calling them scam artists and the lady hangs up on me so I called back asking for supervisor and she says she is supervisor so I say "so you are the head honcho trying to [***] people out of there money" and speaking with her accent it sounded like she said something about her husband and my daughter!!! I called back it went straight to voicemail and I said I am getting FBI involved now!!!

The scams are still out there, somebody called my phone 5 times and then I picked it up and she said, government want to give you some money which is $9800 and I said ok then she gave me 202-888-4067 to call. The person I talk to was a guy, before I believe it then I ask if is a scam and he told no then I went Google the phone number. So I told the guy to stop the scams then he started singing twinkling twinkling little star. So I told him that he and his family should go to hell. Please be careful is a taxes season and the scams are ready to scams people.

I just got the same call, when the lady was explaining everything to me I said ok so how do I know this isn't a scam, she said well if you think it's a scam don't waste your minutes or your time on this call, have a good day and hung up on me. I am assuming that she was pissed she didn't get to rip me off 250, although we never made it that far into the call for her to tell me about the 250 charge thank gosh!

I got the same call. Someone should look into this and shut them down. Where's Homeland Security during this mess?

i just got that same call from (202)1142944 saying its a Personal Loyalty Grant, gave me a code and to call this #(202)8884067 for the treasury/financial dept so i can collect $9800 using money gram.

I just literally receive the same call from them 202 number telling me the same Spiel that I would get $9,800 in the form of a grant  from the IRS  because in my demographic area  I too was one of the ones who paid their bills  and they hadn't filed bankruptcy in 6 months . He asked me how long it would take me to go to   my local Walgreens CVS or Walmart to pick up the money today. I did not call back the 202-888-4067 number right away because I was looking online to verify that this was a scam. I knew it before I looked it up but wanted confirmation. Was searching when the original number came up and it was " Erin Blake" calling again asking me why I didn't call back immediately. I told him that I knew it was a scam  and that I was declining the money  and then he hung up on me . Please don't fall for this scam. I as well as the next person need the money but they are just preyng on us.
