A lady called me, and she is asking me about technical support appointment. I quit charter about 2 weeks ago. It was weird..

Here's the deal: upon installation of your Charter services, you will receive a call from a contracted group know as Prairie Voice. This is indeed an automated survey designed to rate your experience with the technician that installed your services.

Plain and simple, we all know technology is not perfect, so why complain about something the company will never change?

I received a call from 203-304-8705 says it is Charter Communications but I don't subscribe to them.  So I don't know why they keep calling my cell number.  Does anyone else know???  I called Charter and they asked for my home address but said they don't service my city, they entered my cell number and it came back "no acct".

Yeah I am canceling their service too.  They suck @ss.  And it is Charter's b!tch @ss calling.

just got a call-ive had charter for 3 years but just moved to a new location.

Just keep getting calls from this number and it hangs up. But I notice a lot of the above replies mentioned they recently received service with Charter, and I just got it hooked up last monday, so it probably is charter.
I wish Charter would get a clue.

I receive 4-5 calls a week from Charter Comm.  I never asked for service.  The message states that a service person will arrive tomorrow.  I've returned the call to let them know I don't have/want their service, and, they do not provide service in my city.  The calls keep coming.  I've now registered my phone in the do not call registery.  If this doesn't help, I will send complaints to BBB (Charter is a member).

I got a call from this number also and it was someone from Charter Communications checking to see if I was pleased with Charter since I switched from AT&T.  I told him of some issues that I had and he immediately transferred me to Charter Customer Service to resolve my problem.  This is just a courtesy call from Charter.

Just moved back to SoCal and got that call too. Guy just wanted to make sure I was happy and so far I am. (20meg speed!)

I answered the call.  It was a live person asking about my recent install.  I actually had a couple of problems, and she asked if I would like tech support.  She transferred my call, and I explained the problems to the tech.  He put me on hold, and then the phone started ringing and was answered by a vet's office.  I tried calling Charter back, but it is just a busy signal.

I got a call from this number, as we just added charter 'bundle' (of lies)
to our cable & internet.  As I told the caller the discrepency of the bill we received, vs. the contract with promised savings, she put me on HOLD for 5 minutes and 30 seconds, when I just hung up.   Haven't heard from her again. This just adds to unexpected charges Charter has added to our bill for the last time.   We quit! There has GOT to be a better way to do business.

I got a call from this number and i DON'T have charter. No message was left.

I got a call today, making sure I was satisfied with our switch to Charter.  Service wise we have been happy...customer service wise I was not.  (install tech broke our roll-up door during install)

Conferenced customer service onto the line explained the problem and they issued a credit that I have been unable to accomplish over the past month.

So appears to be a legit out-bound customer service call...

It's charter communications trying to upgrade my internet services. When I tried calling the number back it is always busy.

Yep. Charter + no message + call disconnected after 2 seconds, + busy signal.

Sat. April 03 2010.... 3:55 PM..... Received same call..... Answered...... And then was "hung up on".......  I won't take any of this if whoever can not leave a message or replies to me answering the phone.....

Got a call silence on other end busy signal when called back.

same here, got a called 3 times today from this number. First time i let it goto the VM and no message.
2nd time i answered no one as there. and just now at 7:11pm same thing i answered on 2nd ring and nothing no one says anything ? I just added charter digital phone service to  my bundle? hmmmm

Yep, I have charter too AND got the call.

Y'all should probably just pick up the phone.  Paranoia will destroy ya!
